Quick Spec Review - Am I missing Anything?

So my proposed build is as below, this will be used mostly for gaming (FPS / GTA V etc) , but also video and photo editing. I am hoping to push this to 4k if possible.

So my 2 questions are...
1 Have I missed anything OR is there anything so wildly overspecced that I would be better off replacing with something better.

2 I have a freesync capable monitor, is there a major advantage in swapping to an AMD GPU given the ability to enable G-Sync on FreeSync monitors.

Case - COOLERMASTER MASTERCASE SL600M GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU) - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Eight Core CPU (3.8GHz-4.7GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard - ASUS® ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0) - ARGB Ready!
Memory (RAM) - 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz (4 x 8GB)
Graphics Card - 8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3070 - HDMI, DP (Pre-Order Only)
1st M.2 SSD Drive - 500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 3500MB/R, 3200MB/W)
2nd M.2 SSD Drive - 2TB INTEL® 660p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 1800MB/sR | 1800MB/sW)
Power Supply - CORSAIR 750W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET
Processor Cooling - Corsair H100x Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler
Sound Card - ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card - 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT (Wi-Fi NOT INCLUDED)
Wireless Network Card - WIRELESS 802.11N 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD
USB/Thunderbolt Options - MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
Operating System - Windows 10 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hey man can you follow the advice in this thread, in particular about posting your build. It makes it easier for everyone when the configurable link is included

If you're thinking 4K then you should be looking at an RTX 3080, the 3070 is more suited to 1440p ultrawide

Regarding the Freesync/Gsync thing...
Im sure i've seen it mentioned the Nvidia GPUs will still work on freesync monitors in most cases.
The two are the same thing, its all down to licencing off Nvidia about being able to label Gsync or something?

G-Sync is NVidia's proprietary tech while Freesync is based on open source, so G-Sync carries a premium (imposed by NVidia) over Freesync. For a while the two were completely separate - GSync would only work on NVidia cards, and NVidia cards wouldn't support Freesync. It's started easing up in the last few years though. I think we're still in a situation where GSync only works with NVidia cards, however NVidia cards will now work with most FreeSync monitors, and NVidia publish an "approved list". There are some other restrictions as well, e.g. you might not be able to use Freesync and HDR at the same time with an NVidia card.

I'd suggest you have a look online with your specific monitor to see if the Freesync it has is compatible with NVidia cards - If it's a fairly new one it probably is, but if it's an older one it might not be. You could also check if it's on NVidia's approved list, although monitors which aren't on the approved list can also work.

Bottom line is that it's messy unfortunately, and unless you can find someone who has already tested your monitor (or a very similar one) with an NVidia card, or it's on NVidia's official list, then it's hard to say.

As I understood it (wait for @SpyderTracks to prove me wrong) G-Sync is tech actually built into a monitor and utilised by the GPU, whereas FreeSync is more akin to a piece of software that uses the adaptive sync of the DisplayPort medium to achieve a variable refresh rate.

A few tweaks from me...

Not a huge fan of the CoolerMaster case here, so that change is purely personal preference! Motherboard can drop to the TUF X570, the ROG Strix isn't needed at that level of CPU. RAM changed to 2x16GB as there's been issues running across 4 DIMMS with the new Ryzen CPUs, not happy recommending using 4 slots until we know it's sorted. Popped a faster primary drive in there and changed the Intel one to a Corsair, Intel M.2 drives are known for having a lower write endurance. Added an optional 2TB HDD that can be used for storing older photos/projects. Upped the PSU to something of higher quality and with more grunt to add longevity to your system. A more efficient and modern cooling solution in place of the older H100X. A better WiFi card that also has Bluetooth connectivity. And the old forum classics, dropped the BullGuard AV due to it's history of causing system instability and adding the silver warranty for an extra fiver. Boom!

Thanks, much to think about.

I had gone with the Coolermaster case as I want to add 3 or 4 existing 3.5" drives.

Is there an alternative case you would recommend? It's not a deal breaker either way, just a nice to have.

It's purely my preference, I'm just not a huge fan of the giant aluminium box look. It's an excellent case, I recall it got a great review on Tom's Hardware.
