I’m holding out till the end of January, I bought this pc as I need it for a project that begins early February. So if it’s not in by then I’m going to need to source something from elsewhere so until then I’m just hoping it comes in 🤞🏻
when did you get the order in? I think we are looking into 2 calendar months or so, but that was without xmas in the middle.

I took some pictures but they're too big in size, couldn't post them this morning. I played Cyberpunk for a while and as expected it runs really well in 4k with everything maxed out.
For the ones who are still waiting. Perhaps I was lucky but it seems to me that the average waiting time is 2 months. From 43 to 46 working days more or less. Mine went into building at day 44 I believe, exactly 2 months after it went into pre production. Standard 3080 obviously.

Talking about the condensation, I live in Italy so my parcel went through a lot. It's almost winter and both the box and the pc were really cold. Clearly when I brought everything inside my house there was a sudden change in temperature and that's probably what caused it.

@ubuysa @SpyderTracks @Scott tagging mods to get this info through to PCS, can't remember which one of you used to notify them of these things! They should set up XMP profiles during testing/building, it doesn't really take that long, but you might be right that they're rushing orders out as fast as they can

great news, i'm on day 43 myself, but I have a 5900X, however that should be in place considering that people that ordered 5900X after me said they got into building, so probably just holding off on the 3080 for me. Can't be bothered to email them about this, in any case I would have to wait, unless it comes to 50 days, then I might get in touch.
Which 3080 did you get? How's the noise and temps from it if you noticed?

Ha yeah I couldn't resist upgrading to a 3090 either! Just a heads up, they didn't enable my ram XMP profile so was only running as 2133hz. And the Windows timezone was set to Pacific Time. Guess they are banging them out as fast as they can. Actual build is super nice though. Got an MSI Ventus 3090.
I would encourage you to complain to PCS about this. They are under pressure but all builds should be setup as per the original spec (and I'm thinking of the XMP profile here). A less knowledgeable user would likely never have known.

I don't know whether PCS do setup the Windows timezone? They may not, but it's a simple thing to change. I know it's caught me out a couple of times in the past!

What was your order?

Original order was 3080 strix

Also changed to a 5900x 5th Nov
Spoke with PCS on 1st Dec and they recommended I changed to a normal 3080 as they were coming in quicker and probably get built within the next two weeks.

Spoke to them yesterday and got told that they are trying to get builds out fast but not guarantees of before xmas

Not happy!!!

Hi folks, hope some of the people from when I was on chat have had their systems now.

Just a heads up.
There seems to be an issue with some Zotac Trinity RGB lights crashing. Got a big dark patch in my PC where the Zotac lights should be. Initially started as an issue with the controls for the RGB not working on their app. The manual update is a bit hit and miss. Should get a download fix soon I was also told. Anyway, latest correspondence below from Zotac.

Have you been advised to use the stand-alone Firmware updater v1.2?

If this doesn't work, you can either wait for the next update, which our software team are working on, or return the card.

Kind Regards,

Eurotech Team

It seems to be a software issue, as far as I can tell. The RGB LED controller gets stuck, and turns off the LEDs. This FW fix is basically trying to reset the controller.

For what it's worth, if you have another platform to try the card on, sometimes this actually does help with the FW fix. We have had a couple of cards come back with this issue, and have been able to fix it, despite the original purchaser's inability to do so with the same software.

I would hope the store would prioritise replacement over sales, but depends on the store.

Once again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind Regards,

Eurotech Team

It's the Zotac trinity. I spent most of the time transferring files from the old pc and reinstalling things so I didn't really check. I can say that it makes some noise but it's because the fans are always going at full speed, I need to sort them out. 😅

nice, I can understand you completely haha, enjoy first, analyze later. Seems like it's all zotacs recently, haven't seen many people mention palit or other brand

Not PCspecialist , I got it from another site, a prebuilt rather than custom. The parts are all great, but they didn't update the bios, or enable the XMP profile, I reckon they are just banging them together and getting them out the door. I was just glad to get one asap though.
Seems a bit sus that tbh. Unless you needed it for work I dont see the harm in having waited longer for something, that would have been tested properly?

Yeah I'm no PC tech guy and it was a real ball ache to enable XMP. It wasn't on my bios by default so I did a video call with my brother who knows his stuff. He quickly realised the bios was out of date and talked me through flashing that and then we were able to enable the XMP. I expect a lot of people will buy PC's and never know and just run it at 2133hz.

Maybe they do it deliberately thinking the machines will be more stable like that so less complaints from novice users whose computers blue screen whilst all pc enthusiasts will know how to do it anyway?
Im not overly technical with this stuff my self, I was reading it from a customers point of view being empathetic and all that😅. Ive read its risky flashing the BIOS but if youve got someone on point to help thats good. As long youve got yourself sorted mate good stuff.

They're not PCS customers.

I kinda had that issue, i wanted to turn my lights off. Did the update and it failed then went to a strobing light on the card and i couldnt turn off. They send out a manual update for it if you ask. That worked for me. And incase you are wondering why i would want lights off.....I have a 2 year old xD.

Good to hear! Sounds like there's a few of us who had the same idea, which makes sense given how super duper these new CPUs are supposed to be.

10th of December... Cyberpunk 2077 day... a moment please for all of those left behind (including me )
Yeah I’ve just finished changing mine around, final build is below, can’t wait for it to arrive now. Yeah gutted I didn’t have it in time for Cyberpunk but will be worth the wait.

Guys please calm down, these forums are for PC stuff not surprisingly.
I'm not sure what you're complaining about (as I haven't read everything) but we have to use our judgement about what is relevant and what is not, and also what is not suitable for a family friendly forum.

And what @Nursemorph said, he explained it a lot better
