Secondary Hard drive not appearing

Check in disk management to see if the drive is showing there.Click on start and type diskmgmt.msc in search box.
If it's showing as unallocated,
right click on the black bar of the "unallocated drive" in the lower half of the screen,
click on "new simple volume"then follow the wizard.
If It's showing as "Healthy" but has no drive letter, you need to assign one,
to do this right click on bar,
select "change drive letter and paths"
click on the Add button in the next menu and pick a drive letter.
Click ok to assign selected drive letter or choose your own letter from the drop down menu, then check in "computer" to confirm missing drive is showing.
If it's not showing in disk management the hard drive may have come loose from it's connection.

To keep things neat just create your own folders,
open the drive & right click/point the cursor at "new" then click folder.
Name it what you want,music,video,whatever.

and when you're installing program it will want to default to C:\Progam Files (x86)..... etc, if it's just text, simply delete the C and type in the drive letter of your second drive.

If it comes up with a Browse button, browse to your new drive and click on the Program Files folder on your new drive :)
