Setup

Hi. Is it at all possible to get a member of staff to set everything up for me. I know nothing about pcs and I'm trying to get a gaming and streaming pc to start streaming. I'm trying to do a lot of research on what specs are most suitable for me. I just need something that will allow me to game at 240fps consistently and streaming with as few problems as possible. Please if you can give any advise on this too would be highly appreciated.

Not from the forums, no.
You would need to contact PCS directly, I also dont know if its a service they usual charge for?
One of the volunteer forum mods might be able to help, but you are going to have to tell them a lot more than that.
What do you actually use a pc for
What monitor do you have or are you planning on getting
Whats your total budget

Are your expectations also within your budget..

I dont mind paying extra.
So I'm planning to get a gaming pc and a streaming pc. I also want to buy two 240hz monitors. I just need something that will make my game run smoothly on the gaming pc and my stream run smoothly on the streaming. I just have no idea how to set it all up. Ideally I dont want to be spending more than £10,000 for both pcs

What resolution are you wanting?

1920×1080?
That's a very poor option by todays standards, it's only really used by extreme budget builds and competitive gamers.

Are you sure you want 1080p? If you're looking at 240Hz, the idea is you turn all graphical settings down to the minimum and reduce resolution to 720p to achieve high fps, so it looks utterly awful.

Is that what you're trying to achieve?

What kinds of games do you play?

I'm just guessing by your tone that you're not sure what you need, and a lot of people spit out 1080p 240Hz because of what they see on youtube and places, but it's a really really poor experience over anything more modern.

What would you recommend? My priority is to stream fortnite and warzone but it would be nice if other game could run smoothly too but those are my priorities right now. I was doing research and saw somewhere that 1440p would be better visually but gameplay would suffer but 1080p would run games a lot smoother. I just want something that will run my game and stream smoothly with no hitches, drops in fps just things like that.

Would that have any problems with streaming fortnite at 240fps?
There's no streaming service that even supports 240FPS, this is the thing, it's completely redundant.

A: You won't see any difference between 120fps and 6000fps, there's just no way your physical body can detect the difference.

B: there's no streaming service that supports more than about 60fps anyway, so again, it's redundant.

Its mainly for fortnite. Which I'm a competitive player. Almost every pro player plays on 240fps which is huge advantage over someone who is on 60 or 120 or 144fps so I need something that I can play on that can handle 240fps consistently and for a long period of time. As for streaming I meant I need a streaming pc that I can stream on that will run smoothly i didnt mean for the stream to be a 240fps just that game.

Is there a particular reason why you specifically need 240fps? Why not 100 or 150fps? Games still run smooth at 100fps

As for gameplay suffering, I don't agree with that personally...admittedly I don't play Fortnite but I run Forza Horizon 4 on Ultra settings at 1440p and it consistently runs 120-150fps with no stuttering or anything.

If I'm honest here, it sounds to me like you don't care if the graphics are reminiscent of games from the early 2000s as long as they run smooth? Your stream viewers I have no clue about but the people I know who spend time on streams prefer streams with good quality graphics.
As far as my budget. Ideally want the best gaming pc for around £3500-4500 and the best streaming pc for around that price. Not looking for monitors from PCspecialist just the pcs. I want performance as a priority so 240hz is a must if thats possible with that price

If you're set on 240Hz, (I'm betting you've never tried it? Only a handful of humans can tell any difference over 120fps, the stuff you hear on youtube is all by people who don't know what they're talking about and don't understand what FPS and Hz mean), then at least get 1440p 144Hz, 1080p is really really poor.

You don't need a separate PC for streaming. You can either get a capture card, or just balance the PC to do both jobs (which won't affect gameplay). But I would suggest a capture card.

Appreciate it bud. Thank you. Do you know if a staff member from the company could come and set everything up for me or is that a service they don't do?

Is that powerful enough to both stream and play on? Or is that the specs for either the gaming or the streaming pc?

You don’t need a separate pc to stream on aside from your gaming one. Where did you get that idea from i need receipts :ROFLMAO:

Relax bro dont bully me haha. I said I have no idea how all this works. I see streamers with 2 pcs one for gaming and one for streaming so I'm just going off of that.
