Slight gaming issue?

Hi all, had my pc coming up 2 months now, but from the beginning, I noticed when playing the game Battlefield bad company 2 at times it would freeze for a split second or lag for a split second then go back to normal. More recently I've been playing left for dead 2 and I had no problems, but recently It's been lagging like hell.

I have read on verious blogs and forums about people having issues with mircostuttering with the Radeon 5870 card, but I don't think it's stuttering from what I've seen on peoples vids.

Unsure if this is the latest driver? the Catalyst 10.9
Just wondering if anyone would have any ideas? Thanks.

10.11 is the latest driver, get it downloaded and installed see if it helps if not shout back we are always happy to help

Hi Misterdave, I have installed the latest driver 10.11, but still having the same issues, battlefield bad company 2 still pauses when start up for a few seconds and sometimes during gameplay is does a major lag theng oes back to normal, and still having some lagging issues with left for dead 2, which i never used to.
