Slight grating sounds when booting up new PC.

Recently bough a new PC from here, really pleased with it but there's one thing I'm uncertain of - every now and then the machine produces sort of flickering grating noises. The problem is most pronounced whilst booting it up and fades out almost entirely after about an hour of being switched on. It doesn't seem to be synchronised with the hard drive light so possibly it could be a fan somewhere
Is this kind of teething problem common or is it something I should look into?

could be a teething problem as you say,my PC was quite noisy when I first got It.I would give it a while then investigate further if it persists.

Cast your ears over the system fans when you boot , could be a fan bearing , mines doing it at the moment (again) it goes after about 15 minutes of operation , im waiting on some new fans at the moment.

You could also check nothing is catching in any fans. Unlikely if it fades out, but worth a look :)
