Anyone able to check this spec, would be greatly appreciated. Looking for mid-range gaming, 1080p 144hz, with capability to upgrade graphics card in the future to potentially support 144hz 1440p for games like warzone. Looking for system to be quiet and decently cooled.

Help would be much appreciated

Hi, can you include the link to the editable configuration? Also what's your budget for the system? The below link might help:

https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/foru...ification-to-the-forum-check-this-spec.73718/

At a quick glance it looks ok, however both the CPU and GPU you've selected are previous generation - is there any reason you've picked these over the current versions (RTX 30series, Ryzen 5600), e.g. have you stuck to parts currently in stock so you can get it ASAP? This is a particular issue for the CPU, as you'd expect that to last several years - the GPU is easier to swap out in future.

If you can wait and have a budget, then a 5600X with a 3060Ti would be ideal for 1440p gaming. If you want it now and want it for 1080p gaming, then a GTX 1660 Super would be a better option for a "temporary" card than the 2060.

Other quick thoughts:
  • Get rid of Bullguard - Windows Defender is fine.
  • I'd go for a more expensive case - the Corsair 4000D airflow is a bit more, but would be better - or you can keep going up the stack.
  • You'll want another hard drive - Warzone alone is something like 200GB, so that 512GB M.2 isn't going to go far.
  • I'd go for an RMx PSU and up it to 850W for future upgradeability if you can afford it.

Hope that's helpful!

Thanks probably looking around £1200, would the processor have enough power for a future potential upgrade ?
