Thank you for your reply. Could you please give me reasons as to why your spec would be a better option than mine? I've only ever bought pre-built PC's before so i'm no expert when it comes to choosing my own components.

In your spec you chose an A8-5600K and a GTX760 graphics card, now the A8 CPU (and the rest of the A series) are very good if you are not going to be using a discreet graphics card since they have their own integrated graphics - you are using a discreet graphics card though so you do not need the integrated graphics, and can therefore get a cheaper better CPU for your machine.
Also for gaming 16GB of RAM is just not needed. Vanthus has also included a nicer HDD for you (though it is smaller - the size is your choice).

So reducing the RAM down, and getting the FX-6530 CPU gives you enough room in your budget for a better graphics card (the GTX770), and since graphics cards are what basically determines how nice your games look, a better graphics card is always good for gaming

For your budget I would consider an i5. As a personal preferente i would avoid wireless keyboard/mouse for gaming. Try testing onboard audio first before adding a sound card. The i5 is going to perform better than the AMD equivalent.
