Star Wars Jedi Survivor

I got this game with my new Desktop at the weekend. I thought I'd give it a try.

I downloaded it, launched it and immediately had a crash. So I launched it again and it crashed a few minutes further into the first scene.

Tried again. It looks amazing so why not? I played a bit more and was having a lot of fun but it crashed again. Then a few more times in my 2 hour playthrough. Every time the game closed and I received report and launched it up again.

Today, I got in from work and launched the game on the second location. I played about 10 minutes and then it crashed. This time however it restarted my PC and the screen went green then turned off. The Desktop on reboot showed a blurred green screen over the TUF screen that shows when the computer turns on. Is there anything I should do to make sure the desktop is ok? Is my Desktop at risk with all these crashes? Especially the latest one that seemed pretty dodgy? Also is there something that can be done to stop this from happening? Reading around, it seems the game has notoriously bad performance.

Could you help by posting your full config, so that we can see if there's anything hardware related that could be causing an issue...or whether it's a software issue.

Could you also check that your drivers are all up-to-date (and from the official sources, rather than 'driver' websites)...including ensuring that all Windows updates are installed (and optional ones).

Hiya

Could be a number of reasons, I take it you installed through Steam?

Is this on a PCSpecialist system? Can you post your full specs from the order page?
