ok about 4 days into having my new pc, ive seen that today when i start up the pc after it says welcome to windows etc. the screen goes black for 5-10 seconds and the background loads then it takes an extra few secs for my icons to pop up which wasnt happening yday. anything i can do to fix this?

Type msconfig in the Start Search box and then press ENTER.
On the General tab, click Selective Startup.
On the startup tab disable all.
Click the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.
Click apply/OK.then restart.
if pc boots ok you need to isolate the problem startup item selectively,
for example enable the top half of start up items,if computer still doesn't start normally one of the enabled startup items could be the problem,if it does start normally one of the disabled items is the problem and so on.
