Suggestions re build

I last had a PC built - by PCS - in 2010. Its been upgraded along the way but its time for a new one.

Basically, its just a home PC but I convert my concert video footage onto DVD - for personal use :)

I don't play games - although that may change - so I don't need all-singing all-dancing top of the range kit.
I just want something fast with plenty of storage.

Basic case selected because I want/insist upon - a DVD drive.

m.2 Slots
1TB & 2TB CORSAIR ELITE MP600 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD drives selected. These support PCIe 4
Only one PCI 4 slot and one PCI 3 slot on M/Board
I assume the NVME drives are backwards compatable and run at PCI 3.

On the subject of drives, I assume that I won't be able to plug in my SSD from my old PC to new PC and boot from it? I understand it's because my drive is formatted with MBR whereas modern PCs use GPT. This scuppers my plans to boot from win 10 and upgrade to win 11.

I am assuming that I will be able to mount it and access the contents from it. Can anyone confirm?

I selected 8GB MSI GEFORCE RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X XS 8G OC but I am open to guidance and recommendations. I selected it because it comes highly recommended for 1080.

What's your max budget?

I wouldn't recommend the above build because it's already outdated, has several subpar components (case, PSU, RAM, and GPU), and has little to no upgrade potential: I'm afraid it's not well-designed.

Max budget has increased to £1500. No sound card as Creative Sound blaster is Out of Stock. I understand that prices of Graphics cards may well change in the next couple of weeks.
