Surge Protector

Hi,
Just wanting to clarify something.
The UFO Surge protector offered on the laptops is £9, however when configurating a desktop, you are offered a £9 and then a £19 which has an automatic power off function. I guess the £9 one doesn't automatically stop power when a device is switched off?

Also, why isn't there the option of the £19 one for laptops?

I believe it is to do with laptops making use of sleep mode alot more then desktops I dont think the auto off works well with sleep mode etc.

I think the Surge Protector with Master/Slave Function probably isn't offered with laptops because it's main function is to switch peripherals off,like monitors,printers etc,when you shut down your computer.I think they would supply you with one though if you phoned them up.
