The Wait - What do you do with it?

So its been 14 days since order now (9 working days) and I'm still in pre-production
Doesn't help that my i7 2600k was out of stock until a few days ago I hear. Starting to go a little nuts cause I know I probably wont receive it now till around the 22nd which is a hell of a wait to get something your pulling your hair out for.
However this wait does have its benefits, by the time it arrives ill probably only be a week away from having the funds to purchase my second AMD RADEON™ HD6950
Also in the two weeks so far ive found out how to over clock my CPU and turn my HD6950 into the upgraded 6970!

So my question is what do you guys do whilst you wait?

It can be a right pain, but in the grand scheme of things, its only 3 weeks of your life

Also, might want to check this comment out in regards to your "plan"

Why not amend your order and upgrade to the 6970? you will only have to pay the difference. if you still in pre production this will be fine to do.

I waited five days got to eager and fast tracked my order. In fairness was with me four days later. Got to impatient lol

Cheres for the heads up dead eye duck ill defiantly take that into consideration and ill try it with my own personal purchased card before I void the warenty on my Pc Specialist one. Yeh i did think of upgrading the 6950 to the 6970 but to be honest at this point in time i don't want to delay the process any further.

I think this late in the day it should be built and sorted soon, Ill be sure to let you all know how it goes when it shows up!

My problem is that all my money went on the PC. If id have cut down on the pc in order to be able to afford a holiday I wouldnt have a pc worth looking forward to . God damint lol.

I had already purchased the holiday and the fact that it meant I wouldn't be sat around waiting for my PC to arrive meant I actually ordered the PC ealier than I was going to borrowing money from a friend and will pay back when I get my paycheck. Worth it to not be thinking about the wait for so long though. Arrived while I was still on holiday so was a great homecoming package

Order Processed 30-06-2011 @ 13:37:48 and its still on the in building stage without any notes attached :O

So its been 20 days or 13 working days so far and I'm starting to pull my hair out, just cant wait to get my hands on it. Really hoping it gets sorted and dispatched soon or I'm not likely to receive it until next week. That said im sure the process for building and testing the kit takes its time wit the workload PCS has just easy to get a little impatient on the buyer end of the process Hope i hear something soon so i can play to get time off work for delivery ect.

No doubt it'l all be worth the wait For now im just playing on the Viao imagining that its 10x more powerful xD
