Hey guys

I just would like some info on the best world of Warcraft pc I can get that will run Max settings without any lag FPS issues, overheating, loud fans. I also want it to use Ray tracing max as well as that will be available in shadowlands.
I bought a pc albeit rushed last year from pc specialist and I was told it could run it fine but it doesn’t. The fan is super loud. It won’t load cut scenes fast enough without the windows buffering icon at times.
So anybody with any suggestions and prices that would be great.

I have

windows 10 home
And Ryzen 5 3600 6-core processor 3.59ghz
15.9 installed ram.
64 bit operating system x64 based processor
Radeon rx 590 series.

I was told this would run it max settings and it doesnt. Not without struggling. And I spent 1k on it from this company. 😭

What screen are you pushing? What resolution and refresh rate?

Your asking me questions like I’m a super nerd hahah. I barely managed to get the info above for you hahah.

I don’t know how to tell what my refresh rate is and my pc is just plugged into my tv via a hdmi cable.

1293x664 as I’m using a windowed version as I can’t get the resolution to match the whole tv so it does cut off the sides of the game a little. Dunno how to fix that.

Refresh rate 59 hertz

Did I not write them above? That’s pretty much what I found. Did you need more than what I wrote above ?

No this was a pre built pc I paid for and the advertisement was under the world of Warcraft pc’s. I don’t recall who told me. But I phoned up and was told it would run it perfectly.

Hey.

My budget is not bad. And tbh with my set up my tv is the only thing I can use atm. No room for a dedicated computer desk and monitor unfortunately. I can live with the edges not being there. It doesn’t effect me too much. Plus on a 46 inch tv it’s looks good.

But as I said I just want advice and a put together system that will do all that I asked in the first post.

Also I checked my emails and there isn’t a full breakdown of what I got. Just confirmation. I may have purchased it as a guest and not signed in maybe?

Thanks for replying and any more help would be appreciated.

Yeah. So an upgrade option won’t be any good? Coz I was hoping that would at least save on some of the costings.
Will wait to see what the consensus is!

That build will have absolutely no trouble running your tv at that resolution.

There would be no benefit to upgrading, any issues you’re seeing are likely software or thermal related.

What kinds of issues are you having?

Possible that the HDD could be playing a role? if the game is installed on the HDD rather than the M.2 (as its only a 256GB M.2 SSD), that would affect loading times wouldnt it?

And maybe a dodgy GPU? AMD ones are known to have issues.
And the WiFi/internet connection? (I know the ISP can make a huge difference here as well...Virgin Media have been the bane of my life with throttling connections)

Hey guys

So my internet is super fast over 100.
The issues I have are when playing the game at times , story mission always end with cutscenes. Sometimes the computer won’t transition from game to cutscene without taking a few minutes and then the game stopping and the windows icon whirling around as if there is some sort of problem.

also when I run a Radeon thing when it checks everything as your playing. It says the fan speed is super high. The ram is all but used. The temp is 71 degrees apparently.
If your all saying it should work fine why can I only run it on graphics level 6 without it going crazy hot and issues. I want to run it at max level. Not just level 6.

So fan speeds you can manually adjust, that's not an issue. The RAM should be used, unused RAM is wasted RAM. Temp at 71 is better than average.

If you're only able to run at low settings then that's a problem that needs addressing, just buying a new computer is not the answer, you have to troubleshoot.

The easiest way to troubleshoot would be a windows reinstall from scratch and start clean.

Hey there

the pc has had this issue since I bought it 10 months ago.
It’s not even a usage thing.
Surely it shouldn’t be like this right out the gate?
And it would have been tested before being sent out right ?
I had help about 9 months ago but the guy only fiddled around with the drivers.

also the computer would turn off all by itself mid game for no reason. It would just shut down, maybe to protect itself?

I’m not good with computers as you can tell.
So not sure what you mean about wiping it or even how to!

Yes, there's something wrong with it, but the only way to identify what is to troubleshoot. Computers often go wrong, with a custom computer you need to learn how to identify what the problem is and correct it.

Download windows 10 to USB:

Then do a clean install::

Hi there

this wasn’t a custom pc tho. It was just a pramade that was a next day delivery pc from stock. As I was impatient and didn’t bother to make my own. But it said it would be able to handle the game fine at max settings. Hence why I bought it.
I know computers go wrong but my old PC lasted 10 years with only slow down issues towards the end. I’ve never had so many issues with a brand new pc wanting to play at 15 year old game.

I will attempt to do as you say when I have the time. And will also maybe ring the company for help again.

I just don’t know it’s wiping it and starting again will fix anything? Surely that’s just taking it back to factory settings and then we start the process over again!
Are you saying this PC has the ability to run world of Warcraft at max settings without any trouble?
Thx for your replies

Wiping won’t fix anything necessarily, but it’s the first stage of troubleshooting. We need to rule out software as a cause by making sure everything is new and fresh.

We’re very good on this forum, there are a lot of regulars with years of professional experience under our belts collectively. We can advise on how to proceed if you choose to trust us.

That PC will max out wow at full settings without breaking a sweat if configured correctly.

Hey

my problem is not knowing what I’m doing half the time.
You guys have all the experience but I have zilch. I don’t even have a USB. Haha. I’m the type of person who just says “ here fix this for me “ and waits for it to be finished.

hypothetically, I’ve already done the clean install. Where would you go next ?

if I got the pc guys to manually remotely control my pc would they be able to figure something out that way? Like could I run the game and then they can see exactly how it plays and tell me what the problem is. The pc is still under warranty and has Labour costs included.

thx
