Just another update. Still not sure if there is anyone else here actually suffering with issues - but could be useful still to lurkers anyway I guess.
I updated PCS after my BIOS update failed to resolve the issues - just so they have the info is all. Got a reply today.

Just a quick update - BIOS has been updated - but my USB 2.0 issues remain. I can happily work around the problem in any case, but I will revert to you again if AMD advise any other actions.
All my BIOS settings that PCS had configured prior to delivery of my system have also been re-applied now also.

Thank you for the message and updating us on the situation. I have spoken to Asus/AMD and they have confirmed that they had to delay the fix for the USB 2.0 issue that you are expriencing. At this moment in time they are looking at releasing the fix in either April or May, so hopefully when it gets released we can update the BIOS again and resolve the USB 2.0 port issue for you.
