My USB ports keeps crashing. It can start randomly once to 10 times a day then suddenly it wont happend for a week then it starts again. What happens when it does happen?

All Usb Crashes (Keyboard,Mouse, Headset) They turn off and my audio changes to my Screen speakers. The Computer is NOT frozen but All usb crashed wich im forced to Force restart the computer to get all my USB work again.

I have went to Power options turned off PCI, Usb control ports (Allow Computer to have control on USB etc..) If i check my Event Viewer i have couple Critical Errors wich are
- Kernel Power Event ID 41.

Errors i recieved
- Kernel-EventTracing ID 3
- Appmodel runtime ID 37
- App Model runtime ID 69
- Application Error ID 1000
- Perflib ID 1008 and ID 1023
- .NET Runtime ID 1026
- isaAgent ID 1135
- Eventlog ID 6008
- Service Control manager ID 7000 and ID 7009
- DistrebutedCOM ID 10010 and ID 10016

Those are what comes up in my event viewer. I have no clue how to fix them. I've been looking on google to find any issues, All the issues i've found did not work. All Bios/drivers are up to date.

About 90% of the time it only happens when i open OBS (Open Software Broadcast), Connecting my 360 controller. The other 10% would be random while im opening google chrome. teamspeak, Steam whatever else.

We love you Ukraine
If you search for OBS USB ISSUES it's a pretty common occurrence although obs refuse to admit it's connected to their software. Have you got a USB webcam active by any chance?

I have a USB webcam connected yes. But even if i dont have my OBS turned on it randomly crashes my USBs wich i have to hard reset. For example i was playing watch dogs 2 online hacking some guy, keyboard, mouse, xbox 360 and headset turned off couldnt do anything anymore but the game kept running and i succeeded hacking the guy then i had to force reset to get all my USB working again.

Was that an update or an upgrade? An update is a fix, typically security fixes etc, whilst and upgrade is a new version of Windows 10 (like the latest Creator's Edition for example).

If you did an upgrade (to the Creator's Edition of Windows 10) then depending on how you did the upgrade there is a possibility that not all drivers were reinstalled.

I had to upgrade from their windows version to my windows 10 pro. I installed shipset driver just to be on safe side like i said. Havent encured any freezes yet. But ill do the tests tonight. Other issue i have is the audio it makes a beep sound less then a second in my ears while im watching videos / movies or on youtube drivers are updated aswel. The support told me to reinstall windows 10 but i really dont want to since i had to install about 100gb of softwares and games that ill be losing.

Well since you seem to be experiencing several problems/issues and not just the USB freeze it rather does appear as though your Windows 10 Pro installation might be the problem. It's certainly a common denominator, even possibly including the apparent GPU overheating.

Nobody suggests a reinstall lightly, we all know that there is a ton of work to do after installing Windows, but when you have several problems/issues as you seem to, and where you don't really know whether these are hardware or software related, the best course of action is almost always to do a clean reinstall of Windows, the drivers, and all Windows updates. That will give you the most stable software platform possible and if you get problems then it's quite likely to be hardware related.

A common mistake when doing a reinstall to isolate a problem is to keep going after Windows is installed and to reinstall all your third party programs straight away. If your problem was software related it's likely that all you have done is to reinstall the problem and you're back where you started. It is important to stop after all the Windows updates have been installed and to test your system in that pristine state. Only when you know the problem has gone (or not) can you continue to install third party software and make Windows config changes.

With niggly hard to find problems like you're reporting it is often faster, and it's certainly more reliable, to do a clean reinstall than it is to spend hours (and days) messing about trying to fix it in-situ. That said, it would be wise to take an image of your system drive before you start the reinstall so that you have an easy way to get back to where you are now should you want to.

That is interesting, if it's been freezing since day 1 then that would suggest it's probably hardware.

I rather suspect however, that because you have since installed your own copy of Windows, PCS may well (quite reasonably) ask that you do a clean reinstall of Windows, drivers, and updates to confirm that it's not a software issue. If you get USB freezes after that clean install I would be asking PCS to RMA it for repair.

If you do get to that point (of RMAing it) unusual problems like this can be very difficult to reproduce on PCS's bench, so it's important that you include as much descriptive information as you can. If there is a reliable way of making it fail then document that process, if it only fails sometimes then document the process that most likely will make it fail. PCS's repair technicians need as much help from you as possible if they are to reproduce the problem, and remember that they can't fix it if they can't reproduce the problem.

I just had my first crash of the day. This time it was only my keyboard and headset but not my mouse. This is so odd. The only issue i have of reinstalling windows is ill be losing my 40gb star citizen game, and about 100gb of other games installed.

How do you even reinstall windows? because everytime i do it i go back to their PCS windows installation with their drivers etc.

Unfortunately, if you do a clean reinstall of Windows you will loose all third party programs (and games) and these will have to be reinstalled as well. There is no alternative to that I'm afraid.

If you bought Windows 10 with the PC PCS will have included a Windows 10 installation DVD, so boot that.

If you bought the PC without Windows 10 then you need to go back to whatever installation media you used to install Windows 10 Pro, and boot that.

Which started me thinking....when you upgraded from the version of Windows that the PC came with to Windows 10 Pro, did you do that 'in place'? By that I mean did you use the existing running Windows system to install Windows 10 Pro? If you did that may well be the source of your problems. Upgrades in place are known to cause niggly issues like this.

The best (and really only reliable) way to install or upgrade Windows 10 is to get hold of installation media either by buying Windows 10 or by using the installation disk supplied, and boot that installation media. Choose a custom install, delete all partitions on the drive, create a single partition the size of the drive (if you use UEFI, which you probably do, Windows will automatically create the several partitions you need) and you then install Windows into the largest of the partitions. This will completely replace whatever version of Windows was already there.

How did you obtain the version of Windows 10 Pro that you have installed? Whatever media you used to upgrade to that you should be able to boot and do a proper clean install.

Then I think that your best course of action is to download a new copy of Windows 10 Pro by first downloading and installing the Windows Media Creation Tool from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10. Run the tool and download an ISO file (do not choose the 'upgrade this computer' option). It's up to you to decide whether to burn it to a DVD or a USB stick, but do one or the other so that you have bootable installation media.

Then backup all your user data. I would also suggest you take an image of your system drive as well, I use Macrium Reflect (Free) to do that. Then you will have a way back to where you are now.

Then boot the installation media you just made and do a clean install as I described above. After Windows is installed run Windows update as many times as necessary until there are no more updates. This will probably install all the required drivers for you, but just check device manager afterwards to see whether you need to manually install any. Don't install any other software at this time, but test the PC as fully as you can to check that everything is working as expected.

Only if it is fully working should you go on and reinstall your third party software and games. If it doesn't work properly give PCS a call immediately, tell them you have done a clean reinstall and you still have issues. It will probably have to be RMAd.

I told them to call me right now or tomorow. Their going to log on my computer and see whats up. Because last time they logged on my computer they seen no issue.

Ok, let us know how that goes.

They said they gonna call me tomorow morning (saterday), You said to use that link on a USB stick, I downloaded the program tool thing and when i pluged in my USB flash stick... Guess what happend. Yep All USB ports crashed about 60 times after i plugged it in, forcing me to force restart every 10secs. Even when it wasnt pluged in anymore. A tech friend told me to uninstall all USB drivers, chipset etc and redownload the drivers, install them wich i did. he was watching it through snapchat video call he saw i was doing everything right and still keeps hapening. So lets see what PC specialist gonna do about it. If they say they have no clue either, im gonna tell them to reinstall windows 10 pro for me. And they have to stay on the call, install all drivers while were on call. Sorry for being an ass**** but a pc that costed me 3000 euros that is pre build shouldnt have all this issues. It supposed to be plug in and play but all i am having is USB crashes after USB crashes. First i thought it was my Whole computer that froze up but that mith been busted when i was playing Wild dogs 2 and game kept running but keyboard, mouse, xbox 360 controller and headset refused to respond while the game kept running just fine on the screen. So its USB only related issue

Whilst I understand your frustration it's a bit early to start blaming the PC and/or PCS. In my opinion the way you upgraded to Windows 10 Pro is suspect and I am not at all confident that your Windows installation is not to blame for all of your issues. I very much doubt that PCS can install Windows 10 remotely, you will have to install Windows 10 Pro properly yourself.

I'm still not entirely clear whether you bought Windows with the PC? In post #5 you said...

All PCS PCs come with a copy of Windows 10 installed, PCS use that for testing, but it's not a free gift to you unless you paid for it in your order, and there is no guarantee that this testing copy of Windows is fully installed or that all drivers are properly installed. If you paid for Windows 10 with your order then the copy of Windows installed will be a good one with all necessary drivers installed.

Did you pay for Windows 10 with your PC order or did you buy it without an OS?

In post #14 you said...

If Windows was asking for a product key that sounds as though you ordered your PC without an OS.

Did you buy the copy of Windows 10 Pro you have from a store or online? If it came off another PC it might well be an OEM license in which case you cannot legally use it on your PCS computer. In any case, even if you have a legal retail copy of Windows 10 Pro, there is an awful lot of messing about going on here which doesn't give me any confidence that you have a good copy of Windows installed. This is why I have kept suggesting that your very best option is to do a clean install of Windows 10 Pro (assuming you have a legal license for it that's not OEM from another computer).

If you're having problems downloading Windows with the Media Creation Tool on your PC ask a friend to download and burn it to a USB stick for you. If you have problems installing Windows from that stick then that would be indicative of a hardware issue.

One other way to test whether this is hardware or software would be to get a copy of a Linux distro (Ubuntu or Mint for example). Ask a friend to download a copy for you. Most Linux distros can run off the install media without actually installing anything, it's not very efficient but it works. If your PC has issues with Linux then it will almost certainly be a hardware issue.

Ive bought the Windows 10 pro key from online, put it on their computer but it didnt work because the key only works for windows 10 pro and their windows 10 refused to accept because its wrong windows 10 version, so i had to find a temporary key for windows 10, chuck it in it accepted, it gave me uption to upgrade to windows 10 pro, i hit accept once thats done i've placed my windows 10 pro key and it accepted aswell.

Yes the pre build computer had windows 10 test fase and to activate i had to put a windows 10 key, but the windows 10 pro key i had dint work since it was the wrong windows key. Only worked once ive upgraded to windows 10. Still waiting on a call. its 9 PM in UK time atm im guessing they will call around 1 or 2 in afternoon like last time. Wich i dont understand is it was fixed for a week or 2.... They told me to uninstall all USB drives, audio drives and reinstall them using the link they provided, after i done that i had no more freezes but 1 or 2 mouse crashes. Since i started playing Watch dogs 2, Using OBS about a week ago it started again all the USB crashes. Everytime i try to uninstall USB drives wich has like 20ish or so...after i un install 1 of them mouse/keyboard is shut off so i cant delete the rest.
