and my friends says thats WAYYY to high
Blower cooler versions can quite easily go to 84 degrees, so way too high is putting it very strongly.

Rather than GPU surgery, I'd customise the fan curve using software like MSI afterburner or EVGA Precision X

I think i got founders edition. PC specialist gave me the link to that hybrid when i asked how could i keep my GPU cool, where could i buy one of those watercooling things for cheap. So he gave me that link

Cool. But maybe you want to try a custom fan curve first since it's 1) free and 2) doesn't involve dismantling your GPU. Just saying.

But you're happy dismantling the GPU to attach a cooler. Not sure if serious.

You do have to actually dismantle the graphics card, you have to remove the shroud and heat sink and repaste, and also apply thermal pads before installing the new shroud and cooler. It's not a job for anyone.

Seriously, altering the GPU fan curve is simple. You see what it's set at, and then you just increase it so the fan blows faster. And if you don't like the result you just restore it to the defaults.
