Vortex IX vs Recoil Rtx III

Can t really decide between the 2.
Which one does manage heat better?
Are both aluminium body ? (the difference in weight is the battery ?)
Which one is more robust and probabily time resistant (exteriorly speaking)?
Can any1 recommend a build ? The use will be mostly gaming and video editing. Budget: 1800-2000 €

The Vortex has Gsync. So if you're happy spending the extra, then it is probably better for the gaming experience.

The recoil handles temps well from what we've seen in general in reviews and on the forums. There isn't much info on the Vortex as there aren't many forum posts. In this topic the CPU ran quite hot, but was a lot better with an undervolt:

is that -0.25V? as in -250mV? That's a pretty substantial undervolt! Did you cause any BSOD when going lower than that? GPU and CPU benchmarks simultaneously can be used to simulate real gameplay. I run MSI Kombuster to get the GPU nice and hot then run CPU-z with a limited thread count...

Also the Vortex can have an RTX 2070 while the Recoil only gets a 2070 Max-Q. And the Max-Q is barely any better than a 2060 despite costing a lot more.
