Would be for gaming at about 1080p 144hz or 1440p 144hz if the 3060ti could go that high and I was looking for it to be around 1500 Euro but it came a bit over, but I don't really know how to lower that so If someone could show me how I would really appreciate it

For 1440p 144hz gaming your not going to be able to get it much cheaper at the moment without sacrificing the upgradability of the build.

This build is a little bit more expensive than the one above but will give you better cooling, performance and upgradability which will help lower the cost of the over it's lifespan as you will just need to change the GPU rather than a whole new build

As the 3060 rather than the 3060ti will be more than good enough.

It will be hard to get it much cheaper and with the £ getting stronger all the time at the moment it makes Euro builds that little bit more expensive as well

Yeah I was kinda guessing at that, wonder is it possible to lower the price on the case or is that the best price wise, as I really don't care how it looks, then again it's probs not gonna save much given the case is only at about 80 for me, about the psu is that not a bit overkill even in terms of upgrading, its highly unlikely i'll ever upgrade for something in the range of 3080 and unlikely for me to get a 3070 at least for the foreseeable future

I wouldn’t save anymore on the case. That’s the lowest case I would recommend which still provides decent cooling. If you went for a cheaper case I would recommend then spending more on the CPU cooler which defeats the point :)

The psu you can lower if you want but wouldn’t drop below 750 really. By the time you upgrade in a few years we don’t know what the power usage for GPUs will be. Current trend is each gen has more current gen. of course you can always upgrade your PSU at the same time as the GPU if it requires it instead but overall makes the PC more expensive and can be a pain to switch over :)

Yeah I can see what you mean, welp I guess I'll probably end up buying the ti one and buy a new monitor for it at a later date, ty for the help

When you say, this system, ....scavenger hunt?
Win 10
Storage drives
Anything else you can swap over?

Or is it possible to upgrade what you already have? If price is an issue, you might be able to patch what youve got to get another 6 months/a year from it and then look at a new build?

Yeah, im in need for an upgrade too sadly, can't run league anymore on this system so im not in a good spot
An example of how crazy prices at present are is the exact same spec order I placed in December is now £157 more than I paid.

With your other system do you have windows 10. You can transfer that licence across if your not going to use it again which will save you £100+ quid

For the case, there's always the option of ordering your own in for PCS to build into - the FractalDesign Focus G gets good press for about £50. It's not a huge saving, but every little helps!

Actually.... the upgrade to Win 10 was still working, worth checking but if you upgrade to Win 10, log into your microsoft account to associate the licence and then you can transfer it over to the new build.

Well worth it given it would save you over £100 on a new build.

Do you mean upgrade it on my current pc then send them the key to install windows on that 1?

IF microsoft is still allowing free upgrade from Win 7/8 to Win 10, you do that on your current system.
Then you log into microsoft.com and look at your account, check what it says about Win 10 licence, it should say its a digitally signed licence associated with your Win Account.

Then on the new system, do a complete fresh install of Win 10 (Media creation tool) and use your microsoft account as your user profile when doing the setup, do the whole updates thing and make sure its all running, then do the activation, tell it you dont have a key, hit troubleshoot and it should use the digital licence from your Win account to activate it on the new build (you have to remove the old machine from your win account first though)

Sounds far more complicated than it is.

But that all depends if you can still do the free upgrade?

Pound for pound, you can’t really beat the 4000 series cases imo. In terms of thermals, looks, price, features etc. I think its a fantastic case.

Only issues are... only comes with 2 fans (non RGB) however, if you decide you’re going to kit it with ML/QL fans, that is ideal. And the little screws for the side panels are awful. Other than that, absolutely love the case.

Does that mean I'd have to install windows completely on the new machine and drivers for stuff or is there a way I can get them to do the install?

It would come with a test version of win 10, which you cant/really really should not use (you'll have all sorts of issues)
Basically, create a boot usb using media creation tool, and install windows as a fresh install when you get it.
