What's the minimum spec i could get away with!?

Hi all I am thinking of buying a desktop pc to play games like Civ 5 and Total War etc. I will not be overloading my pc and so was wondering what is the minimum specs that i could have so that i wouldnt have to spend too much money.

Please help out if you can. cheers.

Please can you let us know of a budget you have and if you require Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse etc.
The minimum specs for the games are not much nowadays but we will try and get you the recommende dor higher specs so best to lut us know your budget.
