Where to install Steam?

I guess I would be best to install or programs to the SSD and games discs to the HDD but what about steam?

If I put Steam on the SSD will it install all the games to SSD or can you choose a location?

Get system tomorrow and want to be ready for action....................Just thought steam would run quicker on the SSD.

I'd agree, although I think you can change the location for the Steam games individually now (not 100% but I think you can...). Although there will be no real performance increase putting the games on the SSD

There is an excellent sticky "how to split a steam install" by LFFPicard in the desktops technical support section, but read it all as he gives a link to a handy app that does the work for you in post 3.
