Which Processor (CPU) to choose for Mini PC?

AMD ATHLON II X4 640 (3.00GHz/2MB CACHE/AM3)
Or
AMD PHENOM II X2 555 (3.20GHz/6MB CACHE/AM3) - BLACK EDITION

What are the differences? What is each used for?
There is not much difference in price.
What things should I consider?
I know nothing, any help would be gratefully received!

The athlon is a quad core and the Phenom a dual core, black edition means its good for overclocking, not something you will be doing in a mini PC.

If you are going to be doing a lot of multi tasking its probably the quad.
