Wozza has some good advice, if money is tight and this is primarily for gaming I'd drop down to the 2630QM and put that money towards a better gpu. the 2720QM only barely justifies the cost jump between the 2630, and that is only if you'll use its features like supporting 1600Mhz ram or using virtual machines.
Also another money saving tip, do you have any parts from an old laptop (ie if you are upgrading) that you can rip the parts out of, like harddrive / memory?
Check with pcs that your memory will be supported though!
I wouldnt recommend doing that, after all i recommended to upgrade to a 7200rpm drive and it is unlikely that the old one used a 7200rpm drive as they are quite rare, but you can drop the processor a bit and aim for a better graphics card, you could always drop to a cheaper model to save money
The prices will almost definetly go down, mainly on the grpahics card and processor, most other things stay the same until a new version is released (ie ddr4 for RAM)
