Probably not, they still have allot more stuff to add in-game like selectable characters, plus it's on Steam as a different game which usually means stats won't be ported and the BETA version will either disappear or become the testing ground for new patches.

Good side is you usually don't have to install the full game again after partaking the Beta, Steam normally ports what you have into the correct directory then adds the full versions missing parts as a patch :)

Which is why I've decided to buy it! Now! I take it I'll still be able to play the beta even though it wasn't a pre-order

Im pretty sure it says on Steam that if you buy it now, you can use the Beta...but as DM says, its out in a few days, so not long to wait for the full game :D

That last bit...my entire night last night spent wondering that exact thing!

Also havent worked out how to save stuff for "builds"...i hate picking guns each time :)

Played more of it and really like it. I do think some of the animations have got stiffer though, like the shotgun (nova?) is just eww.

The other maps look pretty interesting, sugarcane looks like it will be carnage lol. Love the Ts skins on bank as well.

Saved - will get on tomorrow :p . Had a little trouble connecting to pub servers, get's stuck trying to connect to lobby.

So, been playing bots and one of them Valvians had a brainwave making bots playable when you die! Also looks as though the difficulties have got easier (no way expert is what it used to be).

All in all love the new game though (and the new glock! Sexy lil thing..).

EDIT: Probably a beta issue but can't add/find any servers, kinda greys out when I put IP in :,(

DM helped me on that one Fluck. You can add it as a server by clicking your Steam tray icon and selecting Servers and add it there. Should appear on your list when you log in :)
