It's likely the homeplugs will work ok from an extension,I was doing some reading up
some plugs have external socket so that you could connect an extension lead
so that it may take up the main socket but still be usable
but i don't know what kind of plugs PCS sell
It's likely the homeplugs will work ok from an extension,
so long as the cable isn't too long.
I cant guarantee it but I'd say that would be ok,I'd say the cable is around 1m
I cant guarantee it but I'd say that would be ok,
as long as it's not a surge adaptor extension your talking about.
It doesn't remove the LAN option. The LAN option is just what comes on the mobo. It is the Ethernet socket. That is standard and can't be removed. The homeplugs come on top.
I meant a surge protection adaptor, homeplugs wont work with these.I wouldn't have a clue about that
but by any chance do you know what kind of homeplugs do PCS sell and how come it removes the LAN option once you select the homeplugs?

You will still have the LAN port as standard.
You can see the homeplugs by clicking on the small help icon on the
right hand side of "network facilities" in the configurator.
Thanks and damn they're not the ones i need
i guess i'll choose the wireless option and see how it goes if it's not sufficient i'll buy homeplugs
You don't have to buy them from PCS. Just buy them externally.
Also, how is f@h going?
So it isn't using full cpu power, even with v7 client? What temp is your laptop cpu?
