No such thing as too cheap!
When configuring my preferred specification it says the i3 processor is out of stock - any idea when these will be back in?
Obvious solution - get an i5 or i7

I have a question
Do u provide drivers for win7? if not will the win 8 drivers work as the OS is similar.
also is it possible to configure it without the HDD, since i have my own m4 crucial SSD
Has anyone bought one of these yet?
I'm currently using my girlfriend's macbook pro and want something similar but a lot cheaper for myself.
How will this compare in regards to build quality?
I'm planning to go for i5 with bare minimum as i already have a 256gb SSD and 8GB of ram.
Also has this got backlit keyboard?
I have to say that I am a bit dissapointed at the fact that PC specialist cannot offer customisation without HDD or RAM. HDD and RAM are so common and modular, we all have them in excess, i should not be forced to pay extra 50-60 quid to simply buy RAM and HDD which will immediately swap upon arrival and probably sell on eBay. They can test the build with their RAM and HDD, post me the specs of the RAM and HDD, so if i have any problems i/they will know wats to blame, e.g. not my own HDD/RAM.
At least they allow to order without windows, which saves £80. which is nice!

Never heard of them. Claims it supports Linux though. But can't find any mention of it in the kernel. Have you guys tested this machine (and in particular the touchpad) with Linux?
I've received mine and the touch pad mostly works under Linux. I've tested with Linux Mint 17.1 and everything works except right click with two fingers when clicking down on the pad. If you right click by tapping with two fingers (not pushing the pad down) it works. I might try and fix it but I'm not fussed at the moment since I can right click by tapping.
Could you PLEASE do a review? I was thinking of purchasing one for University. Have you done any stress tests or heavy workload?
I've only had it a few hours! I'll post one once I've had a chance to play with it, first impressions though are good, physically it's well built, very light, the screen is clear, doesn't get too hot to the touch just warm, the fans kick up pretty quick but I do have an i7 in here so I expect that throws out a lot of heat.
Ah right ok Did you consider the UltraNote II 14" instead of the Lafite?
