Seems extremely overkill for gaming, well not overkill but unbalanced. There's no need for an i7 unless you plan to do a lot of editing/3D modelling, etc and even then you would have probably been better off with an i7-3770.

Again with the ram, 8gb is plenty for gaming, 16gb is normal if you plan to do heavy editing. No need to have anything over 1600mhz though unless you're planning on overclocking.

GTX680 performs only slightly better than a GTX670 which can be bought for £80-£100 cheaper. Most benchmarks show that the 670 is only 2-3 fps behind the 680 in the large majority of titles.

Your PSU is probably too low to accommodate a second card if you plan to SLI in the future. It should be at least 750w.

Hard drives are fine.

If it is a gaming machine, I would pick better monitors for your budget as IPS panels are more aimed towards colour critical and productivity work whereas TN panels are more responsive for gaming.

As for your mouse and keyboard, I'm sure the mouse is fine although I would recommend trying one out for yourself if a local PC World has a display stand or something as I know I tried a few of the Roccat Mice and they didn't feel that comfortable to grasp and didn't feel very solid. As for the keyboard, you're effectively paying £60 for a standard keyboard with some flashy lights and "gaming" buttons. At that price I would recommend looking into buying a Mechanical board for much better feedback and responsiveness compared to rubber dome keys. A standard mechanical board would be £60-£80, or £100+ if you want fancy buttons and lights.

I do a mix of gaming, photo editing (enthusiast), photoshop, some video renders.

I tried to put in a 750W but the PCSpecialist stopped me and I couldn't see how to override. It would be possible to upgrade the PSU in the future right?

Is the PC future proof? except for video card and psu upgrades.

Would 750w be good or 850w?

I can still amend my order so, good to know now

Also what about the 27" IIYAMA G2773HS Pro Gamer Monitor instead?

Also changed to Cyborg v.7 gaming keyboard and Cyborg R.A.T 5 mouse

I checked your spec on the configurator and if adding another 2GB GTX 680 it recommends an 850W PSU.
Edit : As it stands a 650W is ok,but if planning on any upgrades at all (excluding adding a GPU which would require an 850W)) always best going for the next one up as bigben said.

Hi,

I personally would drop the GPU to a gtx670 and increase the PSU to 750w, it shouldn't have stopped you - just told you that 750w is more than you need for a single gtx680.
I would downgrade the ram to 1600mhz - you will not notice any difference whatsoever.

I don't know about the monitor but Iiyamas tend to be well rated on these forums. The R.A.T. mice are nice and comfy and you can adjust to suit your hand. They are no good if you are left handed though.

I really wouldn't recommend getting a low usage PSU and upgrading later, it is quite a hassle to upgrade + works out a lot more expensive in the long run.

Are you planning to overclock your cpu? The i7-3770 should perform better than the i7-3820 for your intended use.

I can't change the CPU
You would need to enter the "Top Spec 3rd Gen Core™ Computers" section on the configurator to change to the i7-3770,as suggested by Keynes.
The motherboard you selected isn't available in that section though,so you would need to change that as well.
