Fedex Delivery troubles?

Happy to hear good news. Not so much hearing your keyboard being damaged.
Imagine sending it back via RMA, thus passing brexit walls twice, back and forth...

I think I would rather just dump it into a river than do that again so soon, it would probably save time.

Other than that it seems to be working pretty good! Just downloading my backlog of games now, it'll be a relief to finally play stuff on a graphics setting higher than "low" and praying for the best. Wifi is a bit slow, but I think that's more due to living in the middle of nowhere in the west of Ireland rather than anything to do with the PC.

Actually, even the Wifi issue is due to my own carelessness, didn't realise I needed to put in the Wifi antennae myself! Downloaded speed jumped from barely 1MB/s to 20MB/s! It may not seem much to some people but compared to what I'm used to it seems like the speed of God himself!
That's a regular one

:ROFLMAO:

I'm on a fairly slow internet line where I am, we just got upgraded today by over 30% and MAN do I notice it!

Speed is all important.... numbers... big.... gooooood!

It seems all Irish hit this issue, mine was shipped 6th Feb and suppose to be delivered yesterday, but show still in Dartford UK.
Contact FedEx for ETA for delivery, they told me I should provide them with a commercial invoice.
Shouldn't PCSpecialist provide this when they ship the package?

Just post it here for awareness...

The probably did Leipan Fed Ex are just completely useless, you're basically just getting some guy in a call centre who can really do nothing to affect how the delivery will go. I wish I had more positive news but they are crap

Been working in Logistics and Procurement for 10+ years and Fed Ex have always been a company I avoid

Hey, so I am in a similar boat. I am trying to get a PC delivered to the Republic of Ireland with PCS.

PC was dispatched on Monday, February 8th and was supposed to be delivered yesterday but never arrived. Now it is displaying "Scheduled Delivery: Pending" and "No scheduled delivery at this time." Last step shows as "In transit from Dartford GB"

Should I be calling PC Specialist or FedEx to move the delivery process along?

I know that this is primarily an issue on FedEX's end but it sucks to go through a long waiting period and then have the order stall because of FedEx. I'm sure PCS is looking into this but it seems to be a growing trend for orders for Ireland based on the recent forum posts.

It's 100% on Fed Ex mate, they are experiencing delays across the board in every country it's not just to Ireland.

I'd say 5 days would be the average for their "Next Day" delivery at the minute

I understand this of course. I realize that this is in no way PCSpecialist's fault and that's not what I was trying to insinuate in case that's how it came across. I was just wondering who will be able to give them more pressure in executing the delivery; myself or PCS.

Also, I'm kind of worried that it might be stuck at customs. I don't see any indication that it has arrived in the Dublin storage facility unless it's arrived and just hasn't been scanned. Don't know much about international deliveries to be honest and Brexit certainly isn't helping!

Some tracking systems can take up to 6 hours to update on the users end, so you could be checking the tracking information and it could be sat in Dublin with the screen saying it's still in England.

Disaster all around at the minute mate with deliveries. I'm sat in Derry in the North and running in road blocks at every turn with deliveries

Realistically there is very little you can actually do other than ring Fed Ex repeatedly asking for updates

It's been about 30 hours since it was listed as "In Transit" in the UK. I'll try and give FedEx a call later today, thanks

I received my computer in Jan, it was despatched on the Monday and I received it on the Thurs. That's to N. Ireland right enough but if it's any indication of lead times it was about 4 days in shipping

It came via DPD who are significantly better as well though

In the same boat to Ireland and started earlier.
My pc (after RMA) was picked up from PCS by FedEx on the 4th of Feb , stuck in Dartford for the last 4 days.
FedEx said it’s Customs clearance pending. No further documentation required.
Something is not right.

Delivery to Ireland is via flight (Stansted to Shannon) so, Road blocks shouldn’t be the issue.

Dont forget as per several threads now on here that PCS are about a one week turnaround on emails and a long wait on phone for calls as well so if you wait a week to contact them, it might be another week after that before you get a response (emails).

So I just got off the phone with FedEx (1-800-535-800). If numbers are not allowed, I'll remove it. First, it was very quick to get in touch with them (less than 5 minutes).

I was told that currently FedEx is experiencing a very large influx of orders (which I already knew obviously) but that since it was in Dartford that it looked like they would try and have it go through France (Charles de Gaulle) to go through customs after which it would be shipped to Dublin. She mentioned that there were talks of moving it to Stansted (in which case it would go through customs in Dublin).

When I asked whether there were any issues regarding customs, she mentioned that although some comments were raised due to the price, nothing seemed off with the paperwork.
