Also, can anyone comment on whether or not the damage to the radiator grill (in signature pic link) will be an issue? =)

Genuinely pleased for you that everything runs great. With regard to the damaged radiator grill, from the pics it looks minimal. On a car radiator that level of damage would not cause any problems whatsoever.
I would suggest checking temperatures while running under stress but I honestly don't think it's going to be a problem.
