Homeplugs

Hello everyone,

I didn't know what sub-forum to put this in so please forgive me if I havent put it in the right place.

I'm thinking about buying these TP-Link-TL-PA211KIT-200Mbps-Powerline-Ethernet (Click to See)
I only choose this pair because it seems like a decent price and it has 5 stars

Do routers need particular homeplugs or will I be okay with any pair?

I always appreciate help from anyone who gives to me! So your help will be greatly appreciated :)

Any pair of homeplugs will work with any router. Just make sure if you get more homeplugs later on, you'll need the same brand and model :)

I have those, so does my brother. They are excellent. I would definitely recommend. :)

Only thing I would say, they only come with 1.2m (4ft) ethernet cables, so you may need to get longer cables for connected devices.

No,routers dont need a particular pair of homeplugs, obviously same brand & model is a good idea,:)
the ones you have selected will be fine.
There is a lot of misinformation about homeplugs on the net,
this link answers the most commonly asked questions & dispels some of the myths.
