Is best really best?

Hey guys.

Do you think the i7 2600 is really needed in gaming ? I play total war games but will go on to BF3 maybe. As for cases, do you think the HAF X is a massive need. I plan on going for the TITAN EXTREME COOLER and the gtx 580 1.5gb. I was looking at the
650D but its only £4 cheaper than the HAF X so I want something that is atleast £20 cheaper but I cant decide. It needs plenty of space.

nope i dont think the 2600 is needed in gaming as the 2500 is way more than enough.

Yeah 2500 is good enough for gaming the only thing that pushes my CPU is FSX that made use of 10 threads.

Lol yeah gets all 8 of my threads going. Crazy ass game. So much more intense on cpu than crysis, and yet gpu wise not very intense at all.

i5-2500 3.3ghz quad core will be fine, look on Youtube
