Godlike
Spec is looking good. shouldnt have any problems for any games. I believe the 8gb ram should be plenty even for large data bases, but 16gb wouldnt really hurt if your happy to pay for it as i think the saved amount could be invested else where like an i7 cpu or so?

Yeah i am with Teaz on that 16GB is probably way overkill 8GB should be enough.

thanks for the advice. i have 2 more questions

1. if i want to upgrade memory or graphics card or processer in next few years is it easy to do so on this rig or is it future proof enough

2. i have an 22inch samsung hd tv with dvi - d and hdmi output. what cable is best to buy

1.easy to upgrade memory(RAM)but any future upgrades of GPU or CPU might require larger PSU.
having said that you should be good for a few years even with 8GB ram.
2.Some people will say they are the same apart from HDMI having audio, but I think HDMI is best for tvs & DVI for monitors.
