First proper trailer for Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming Megalopolis that he self financed, really looking forward to this

I notice it’s got Shia LeBeouf which is quite a risky casting. He’s pretty much been blacklisted in Hollywood for quite a while now, be interesting to see how that pans out.

Just finished Godzilla X Kong.

You know what you're getting with these movies nowadays but I have to give credit on how it's been put together. More and more the showcase is on the Titans, as the original stylings always were.

The supporting cast are basically cameo's, as we're only here for the monsters anyway.

If you like this style of movie, I think this one is decent. It lacks a little in actual threat and the ending is very predictable right from the off. Effects though!?! They're getting ridiculous when the budget gets thrown at them. There are a few scenes where it looks like a titan is rocking around the planet. Seriously good effects.

Slight spoiler:

IMO Kong & Godzilla teaming up is OP. Godzilla rules the planet on his own and took on the army solo, as stated in the historic reading, adding a juiced Kong to the mix they struggled to actually show any real threat. There's an introduction to try and level the playing field but I don't think it totes up right in the Top Trumps scorecards. Godzilla finished this movie with barely a scratch fgs.

I liked it though, scoop the brain out action ftw.

Just watching the classic Carlito's Way, I'm a huge fan of Pacino generally, but there is something so different about this film that makes it stand out for me.

Incredible cast, incredible screenplay.

A little different one here

I'm a huge fan of rediculousness and un-pc comedy.

This is actually the Late Late Show in the US, which up to 2014 was hosted by a Scottish recovering addict called Craig Ferguson.

This guy is soooo funny, the whole show is completely unscripted (except for the opening monologue), he gets on some really good guests, but it's all utter nonsense, they rarely talk about anything serious, even when the guests are promoting new stuff, it's totally ridiculous. He's also a shameless flirt, but in the best way as the guests know he's no threat. He's also very open about his past addiction in a really funny way.

Would highly recommend watching. The last year (2014), he'd handed in his notice for the last show at the end of the year, and they're extra rediculous as he'd just given up caring.

Really good mindless fun, would highly recommend them.

Just been made aware of this, it’s one for @AgentCooper when he’s back online.

A new Nick Cage film, apparently got a standing ovation at Cannes where it was just premiered and is getting rave reviews from critics

The Surfer

It’s a Nick Cage film, so you have to be prepared for it not being the norm

Just watched The Gathering on Channel 4. Really good thriller. Based in Liverpool I assume as they all have scouse accents (Love it) Plus one of the sound tracks from it is awesome - Roll Back by George Fitzgerald.

Forgot to post this one up. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, absolutely fantastic. It's filled with comedy and action, it's absolutely brilliant.... but you can feel a very dark undertone to the whole thing. There's a seriousness to the story being told, I felt it throughout..... but the bonkers madness of the way the movie is being delivered makes that side of it feel subliminal. I absolutely loved it, the cast and performances were bang on.

I really enjoyed it. It's getting mixed reviews and currently sitting around the 70% mark, but it was right up my street.
