Ouch, the powercolor I found has one VGA output. Ok so, I stand corrected, you will need TWO DVI - VGA adapters, one should come with teh card, which means you need to purchase a second.

PCS cant calculate when it will be finished building. But my guess according to how busy they are is around 12 working days (no saturday or sunday). Also you should call tech support and ask them what gpu model of the 5750 is being installed in your pc. I just got a replacement on my 5770 and its going to be the gpu that pcs showed me except its a 5770 and not 5750 like yours. If it is am sure sleinous can find the right adapter..i dont know which one.

also just wondering, im thinking once XP is installed, i will want to dual boot the PC - put Windows 7 64 bit ...

my brother has Windows 7 Pro 64bit disc , would i be able to use that ? its geniune and btw he alreadu used it on his laptop.

Usually yes :/ But you shouldnt as you need one key per pc unless you buy a license detailing how many pcs it will be installed on. Seriously ? 32bit os? :( Bit pointless going dual core then lol. Hope you install that 64bit os.

Why would it be pointless? it's not like 32-bit operating systems don't support them, It would be a better idea to go with 64-bit anyway though.

I entered pre production on the 12 Oct and am still there, remember the times are guidelines and will vary from person to person

on another note, get a linux partion for your programming needs :)

p.s definately go 64bit, 32bit will just bottleneck your system which, if not now, may be noticeably annoying in the future.

2 cousins doing medicine, you must have a family of geniuses.

I guess you could get microsoft through thier university, but they might not do it for ur specific pc or smth.

Hardly any uni's are participants of the free program, and the ones that are, its usually only to specific schools/departments, e.g. ICT. You can however get a discounted upgrade disc if you have a .edu or .ac.uk email (or ur cousins)

Sorry I never saw you were dual booting, my bad there.

Shame you are at secondary school, therefore you won't be able to (but you say you have w7 64 bit anyway... so it doesnt matter, again must have misread what you were trying to explain, long day!)
I'm Scottish and therefore education systems are kinder up here :) all Uni's my computing mates are at have access, I must be taking this system for granted hehe...

Sorry for the confusion!

Going slightly offtopic - Stick in at the programming dude! :)
