PC for music production.

I've noticed quite a few people enquiring about PC's for music production and recording, but the sound cards on offer are more geared towards gaming and multi-media apart from maybe the Creative Sound Blaster ZxR.
The option of a low latency audio interface might be an idea, just a thought.

Generally anyone serious about making music will utilize an external audio interface. These do not generally have very many settings and are geared more towards complete accuracy (No bass boost, x-fi etc...) They can range from something budget (What I have) - Tascam US-122 MKII to ridiculously extravagant Metric Halo ULN-8. My one functions using USB 2.0 but higher end units may require a PCI/PCI-e card to be installed in the computer as well, others may use USB 3.0/Firewire etc for a better connection too!
