PC Specialist and the winter weather

Just an update to anyone who may be wondering if the snow is affecting us as it is quite bad in our area.

At the moment, barring a few staff being cought out and having to leave early, service is running as normal, the call centre is open and fully staffed.

Deliveries of stock are making it through the snow so production is as normal.

DHL are collecting as normal although if the weather is particularly bad near you, it may be worth checking with your local depot before waiting in all day for an expected delivery.

UPDATE:

Deliveries of some stock have been slow to come through.

Love the snow, but as I'm only 13 mins walk from work I always have to make it. Meanwhile people from further afield get to come in late (or not at all), go home early etc and get full pay. Leaving yours truly to pick up the slack :(

But hey!!...on the bright side, there's no snow here and my new PC has been built and is ready for shipping (just wish I hadn't needed to ask for Saturday delivery)

Hopefully my computer will be delivered on Saturday morning. I was thinking about this when I suddenly thought about the weather and wondered if anyone has had any problems with a new computer getting a lot of condensation, due to it being moved from a cold delivery van into a warm house (given the extreme cold weather at the moment).
I was thinking of putting my new delivery in a room that's not heated at first and maybe open the side to check if any condensation occurs and later move it to it's permanent location.
Do you PCS guys have any recomendations regarding this? For example, should I do the above and what about maybe turning it on, but not using disc drives etc for a few hours or so?

Everything should be ok as long as the machine is not going from extreme cold to hot and humid.

I would warm it up slowly, maybe leave in the kitchen for a few hours and then into a warmer room etc.
