You need to contact PCS I’d say, that needs some investigation.

Can't I start my laptop in ''safe mode'' ?? and do ''restore point'' ? I have created restore point when I installed Windows 10 for 2nd time after BIOS reset few days ago. Will not it be helpful ? If this doesn't help, then I can call PCS.

kind regards

Dear spydertracks,

I think I need to call PCS tomorrow. on pressing F10, nothing happened and again it started ''Diagnosing PC''. But it's super strange & weird that even with windows updates, PC is getting into problem :D. Should I update my windows in future or not with windows updates coming every 15 days ?? This is very weird. I think we all need to send a lot of complaints to Windows helpdesk regarding their updates.

Will get back to you after I call PCS.
Thank you !! Good night.

Kind regards

You didn't go through the starup steps then? F10 isn't a thing on Windows 10, but if you read that link it tells you exactly what to do.

Dear spydertracks,

Yes, In the link the 3rd method is only applicable ''black or blank screen'' on startup, its written to turn off & on laptop 3 times, on 4th attempt it will enter winRE, but I tried it, still it's stuck on ''Diagnosing Your PC'' only.

Dear Spydertracks,

I haven't received any reply from you regarding undervolt, so I didn't install XTU, neither did any undervolt. But now I have got another problem. I did Windows updates today and shutdown in afternoon, and now I switched on my Laptop it's not starting, it is showing the screen of PCS ''Diagnosing your PC''. Now why this problem arized for no reason just because of updates ?

Kind regards
I just looked back over this thread and I see that early on a PCS technician advised that you reinstall Windows. Did you ever do that?

That you're having problems with Windows updates now as well makes me very uneasy about the stability of your existing Windows system. A damaged Windows ststem could account for many, if not all, of your problems so far.

If this were mine I would be doing a clean reinstall of Windows from bootable media.

Dear ubuysa,

Yes, I did install Windows 10 for two times. First time I did when PCS technician said because of corrupt Windows due to updates & also he reset BIOS because of performance issues. Second time time I did when I had serious problem with Sound blaster. I was unable to install creative sound on C folder.
Now it will be 3rd time to perform again new installation of windows.
I have read on Google that if you do installation and deletion of windows again and again, it will simultaneously affect SSD
& it's performance ? Is it true ?? Now I am afraid to do new installation again. Also, I need to install softwares again which is a tedious task to do.

Kind regards

No it's not true that repeated installations of Windows will damage your SSD. Modern SSDs have a lifespan equivalent to an HDD, you no longer need to worry about the number of writes that you do.

When you have done these reinstalls before, have you done them by booting installation media (DVD, USB stick) or have use used the Windows Reset This PC tool?

Dear ubuysa,

No, i didn't use DVD/ USB stick to install windows. I just downloaded W10 from Windows website, then I started setup ''Download windows''. I didn't install windows from scratch by formatting C drive completely. Because PCS guy didn't ask me to do it from scratch. I think this is the mistake. But now I will format C drive as shown in figure below (this photo is just example from internet). But please can you write me the steps for formatting C drive. I will make my USB stick a bootable device by downloading fresh window 10. But I don't know how to enter in setup from scratch. I remember from my old laptop that we need to enter in BIOS and change preference for starting up windows with HDD/ USB stick. Is it the same process here ? Please write the steps.

Still undervolting my laptop is pending. I must do it soon. After this clean installation, we will go through undervolting process as well.

Kind regards

You just need to follow the video I posted to undervolt, but after a proper installation.

One thing at a time. It's vital that you ensure you have a stable Windows platform before you try undervolting.

You definitely should reinstall Windows from scratch using bootable media. Nothing else will give you a truly clean system. There are detailed instructions on how to get the latest copy of Windows 10 (you'll need an empty 8GB USB stick) and how to install it here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/how-to-reinstall-windows-10.63152/

Dear spydertracks, ubuysa

I have installed W10, but during the start. I couldn't see wifi option to connect to internet. Also on starting up windows, it is showing that it cannot find wifi devices on this PC. Please see attachment. Do I have to run the DVD given by PCS to install drivers ? Sorry my phone camera quality is not so good.

Kind regards

You need to run Windows Update repeatedly after you have installed Windows, this will install all your drivers.

Dear ubuysa,

Do you think updates will add WIFI option also, I think it should come with Windows 10 first. No ? It is showing that WIFI device is not found in PC.

Drivers are installed through windows update on windows 10, nothing will be installed except basic drivers before running windows update.

The base Windows installation does contain basic WiFi drivers so yes, it should find your wireless card.
