Ok since I know next to nothing about OCing a computer but I'd really like to get the very best out of my PC as possible. Would it be possible to request a higher OC then usual cause I noticed with the i7 950 you overclock it to 3.8Ghz is that becuase it's the safest it can run at or?, anyway I just wanted to know if you offer OCing peoples graphics cards etc becuase I watch reviews about people OCing there motherboards and other pieces but lots of what they talk about I don't understand half of it so risking it myself would be rather dangerous I think atleast for the computer anyway:confused:.

Safest most stable, and will still give CPU a good long lifetime. 4.2Ghz is easily possible but your cpu wont last as long. PCS only offer the 3.8 btw

We generally overclock the CPU as far as we feel comfortable with.

As we are offering a warranty on the machine and know people generally have a low tolerance for BSOD's then the numbers can be quite conservative.

Overclocking is an enthusiast occupation which introduces a lot of instability into the system.

Why don't you offer the overclock version of the chip when purchasing an order?
I only just realised there is an overclock section and have already ordered a 950 based system and would like it to be overclocked to 3.8 .
I entered the same specs with an overclocked chip and the price was the same.

So I have sent an email and hope pc specialists can overclock the chip for me so that I dont invalidate the warranty by doing it myself.

Hopefully this can be done for me :)

You may possibly want to add some better thermal paste though.

If you order an overclocked PC make sure you pay for the Artic Cooling MX-3 paste, it's worth it.
