Ah hoping to see them soon, item is now in Quality Control. In Edinburgh they do Saturday deliveries as standard, so I am wondering, I am expecting it to be dispatched on Thursday (with any luck), but if it is dispatched on Friday, would it come on Saturday or Monday if I went for standard delivery?

Lets see how this goes, mines should be delivered between 1520 and 1620, and the guy is currently on delivery 27, I am 71. I remain hopeful

You'll be surprised how quick they get through them I looked on there about 20 before mine an hour and a half before delivery. I suppose it helps that all the deliveries were in my area.

I ordered a laptop about a week ago and while PCS was very fast by building it and dispatching it within 3-4 days, I am a little concerned about the shipping part.
It is supposed to be shipped to Greece, which according to both PCS and DPD it should take 4-8 days. The problem is that the parcel left UK on the 6th of September and the estimated delivery date has been 18 September since then. Is this normal? I would have contacted them but not only I'm sure they will not be responding in the weekend, they did not respond to a previous email I sent them a couple of days ago either.
The parcel has been in a sortation facility for quite a lot of hours now as well so I assume the van will not be moving in the weekends?

PS: Would love to see an express option for shipping outside UK. DPD offers this option but it is nowhere to be seen on PCS's features when ordering.

my order reached "order dispatched" status today, but i haven't received an email with tracking info or invoice like the order tracking page says i should have. is there just a delay because it's been dispatched on a saturday and it's sunday tomorrow, or should i be more worried?

1. Does this mean that delivery is likely to be tomorrow or that I'll be offered a delivery day tomorrow?
2. I've noticed several mentions of "massive boxes"! I've ordered a mid-sized desktop, mouse and keyboard. Surely it can't be so big that it can't fit into a lift.......can it?

One delivered Friday no problem (no recorded so just posted through the door).
The actual order I had was delivered on Saturday, as per my request, and I received a text from DPD giving me a time slot and the nice DPD man arrived about 3 minutes into that slot Then just to help things even more, the posty arrived with my other order about 10 minutes later

okay, earlier today the DPD track status said my parcel had made it to my local delivery depot, and will be delivered tomorrow. now it's gone back a few steps to "at sortation facility". this is in birmingham apparently. is this a bug on dpd's website? or have dpd screwed up? kinda confused right now.
edit: just checked again... pretty sure it's a bug. it says my parcel was delivered to the sortation facility on the 6th september. i think it had only just reached the testing phase at that point. hope this gets sorted by tomorrow, i'm gonna want to know the time window of delivery.

Received my laptop from DPD today. Overall the service was very good, perhaps 9.5/10.
I enjoyed being able to track the driver and the amount on information provided by the online tracking page. I was also using the mobile page to track which was brilliant, but it had a few glitches.

Is it possible to change the delivery location while the order is in transit? I contacted DPD Ireland and they said they are no authorised to change the delivery address from the UK without an email from the sender. Have PC Specialist sent emails like this on behalf of buyers before?

Just received my PC in Galway, Ireland via DPD UK & DPD Ireland. Everything went smoothly and it was delivered to my office right in the midddle of the 2hr window they gave me. Haven't had a chance to open it all yet, that'll have to wait until I get home. One box is fine, the box the case in looks a little scuffed but intact so all looks good.
One thing to note the receptionist sent me a message to let me know it had arrived in her words "its massive!" and it is.

Another good DPD experience here, PC delivered to my office with the 1 hour window they'd texted me this morning. Packaging unmarked and a very friendly courier.
Now I'm just sitting here clock watching before I get it home and unpacked. Using work time to make a spreadsheet of what to install in what order FTW!
