Time spent in pre-production

Mine took 10 days pre production...i think....after that it whizzed through everything!, 2 days later it was out the door. Anything longer than 10 days seems to be rare, and maybe waiting on certain parts to come in, just luck of the draw. After getting my PC on Sat, it will be worth the wait i can assure you!

Yeah I think if I really needed the laptop sooner I would have got a 5 or 3 day dispatch but I just need it before the 6th of May really so I was always prepared to wait :)

Feels good knowing that there is progress though.

Mines finally in testing(YAY!) after the 19th day ...looking like next week for mine to arrive,a very long wait indeed.Lets hope no further delays :)

Update: pc sent out today to be delivered on Monday! *sigh* another 3 day wait while it sits in a depot :( Thought maybe they might have updated it to a Saturday delivery after all the delays.

16 working days in pre production, now on day 17 it's in quality control!! I'm crapping myself with excitement. Literally. I need some new boxers.

Mine is now on working day 27 and its still in pre-production. I ordered on 5th April everything went through ok and finance was excepted 8th April, I was then waiting for a graphics card to come in stock on 22nd April but still no change after that. I sent PCS an email on 1st May and they replied straight away saying they were waiting for chassis to come in stock which should be next day. It still hasn't changed and I emailed them again on 9th May and twice on 13th May but had no reply. I want my new PC so bad just wish I knew why it was taking so long

Oh dear, that sounds frustrating. Have you re-spec'd your system and chosen fast track to see if it says anything new? Kudos to the previous member who suggested that on the previous page.

Just tried re-spec and chosen fast track but it doesn't say anything so everything should be ok. I'm at work so cant ring them now but will try tomorrow during my lunch

These long-awaited chassis components were due in on Monday (from the last update we got) but sadly have still not arrived, we are hoping these will drop through the door tomorrow.

I can assure you Kellett23, due to the delay and time you have waited there isn't a shadow of a doubt that yours will be the first one to be done.

Obviously this type of delay isn't commonplace, so I do thank you for your patience again.

They have just been received and booked in and as far as I am aware they are all getting done ASAP.

You should have an update very shortly all being well!

Thats cos yours was fast-tracked and for it to be fast tracked everything must be in stock when fast-track is ordered.

So happy - my order only sat in pre-production for 2 days! 4th working day and it's now in building :3

Your order should be ready to dispatch tomorrow in the morning!
(providing no faults are found in the testing and QC stage).
