Very much agree regarding curved 1080p - decent curved monitors starts from 1440p because 1080p would be 24inch and 24inch curved monitor looks funny - like a little jar on a deskFor your uses, this system would perform excellently...

I’ve left the GPU out because if you’re staying at 1080p, the upcoming RTX 3050 is likely to be the card for you, should be retailing at somewhere between £275-£300.
Monitor-wise, I wouldn’t bother going for anything above 24 inches at 1080p. The image quality will suffer the bigger the screen gets. Going for a curved monitor at that size is essentially pointless, you don’t get any tangible benefit. A great 144Hz monitor with IPS panel is this one...

I don't know any good 24inch curved monitor. There's no demand for it in market. Normally curved starts from 27inch.can you maybe link some 24inch curved gaming monitors 144hz IPS plz.
all of those are way higher than 24 inches.Best curved monitors for gaming in 2024
The best curved monitors help immerse you in your favorite game worlds.www.pcgamer.com
Yep, because 24inch curved is a crazy stuff and people don't want to buy crazy stuff, and if people don't want, manufacturers don't manufacture, sellers don't sell. I quickly looked but couldn't find - it means it's not popular. That's a sign that it's not a good idea and I wouldn't ignore signsall of those are way higher than 24 inches.
I get that and I don't even try to change your mind. I have my opinion and explained what it's based on with even examples to the websites. If I new a good 24inch 1080p curved, I'd definitely recommend as asked tobut if I get a normal monitor it will look horrible standing next to my curved monitor. I'm not trying to say they're a bad type of monitor but I just generally prefer curved.
Excellent! Very well explained@Citrus_9 is correct, there’s no 24 inch curved monitors flooding the market because there’s no need for them. The idea of a curved monitor is to make the field of view easier on the eye by reducing the amount of head movement involved, thus making it more immersive. A 24 inch monitor is small enough that this technique isn’t at all necessary, your eyes can simply dart to the corners of the screen without any head movements required.
These are the best:fair enough. I guess after listening to good points from you guys and from others I should probably get a straight monitor.
