hi i am looking to buy a pc of you soon i need to no what wireless card i should get i am using an eircom netopia 2247-62

if you can afford to get a set of homeplugs i would go for them normally more reliable from my experience at least.

They send your internet signal round your house via the house mains :) They allow you to plug an Ethernet cable into your pc from the wall plug :)

oh so they are like a two way reciver so i could plug in 1 beside my desk and one beside my router and it would connect :)

It's basically a wired ethernet connection through your domestic wiring,
plug one homeplug in to a socket next to your router then connect an ethernet cable from the homeplug to your router,
plug the other homeplug in to a socket next to your PC & connect an ethernet cable from it to your PC

oh i understand now could i just use the 16 pound wireless one first and then when i get more money buy homeplugs
