mine was the 7th and i don't really expect to get it by monday...but will be a pleasant surprise if i do :D

Mine's been "in building" since the 4th of September lol. Because it was originally built as a Defiance I but turned out to be a damaged chassis. Longest build ever. Mine's supposed to be built today though and tested tonight.

Do update us on it...once i know the ball is moving i'll be able to sleep much more soundly at night :D

Mine was 9th of September, now in pre-production working day 26 - would love to have it by this weekend but the way things have been going I'm not overly confident

Good choice of GPU with the Defiance II. Do you plan to put in a 9.5mm drive as well? I wonder if one could, in principle, order a 970M together with the backplate that goes with the 980M therefore allowing one to insert a 9.5mm drive even with the 970M GPU.

Well, generally once you get to the building stage it doesn't take long at all to get to testing, then QC then dispatch (I realise it was slightly different in djsubtronics case with the chassis issues)
For the vast majority of orders the pre-production stage is by far the longest stage

Both of my laptops spent an age in pre-production and then it was if Usain Bolt had picked them up, from build to to despatch was no time at all.

Mine went through building and ended up in Testing today!!! I know I shouldnt but I'm really hoping it will be dispatched tomorrow hahaha.

Btw do you guys know how much time in average it takes for the currier to deliver to London?
