The monitor is going to bottleneck any modern system. To utilise that budget you'd be looking at 1440p Ultrawide or 4k 144Hz. 1080p is really a dead resolution only used in extreme budget builds, almost all GPU's are overpowered for it these days. It's really a very poor gaming experience in general.That build is £1944 but I definitely do not want to go above
This would max out the budget almost for a very capable 1440 Ultrawide setup:I would be able to afford a monitor at that price a week or two after the initial purchase, of the system if it were to stay around 1900.
Having just taken ownership of a 1440p ultrawide thanks to you and @Nursemorph, I’ll definitely vouch for that statement. It’s absolutely brilliant. Only been using it for about ten hours but there’s no way I’d want to go back to a smaller screen after experiencing thisNot sub par, it's just yours is a 1440p, whereas these are 1440 Ultrawides, very different monitors.
