I set up everything, tried switching it on and the monitor doesnt even display a no signal sign but it works for my other pc. Im using my own HP monitor by the way, iv tried calling sales team but the line just quitens down after lyk 5mins and i dnt know if im losing money for it

And if you feel confident try opening the pc up, and removing the RAM chiops and putting them in one by one again.. see if that helps!!

Yeah the phone lines can be buggy, i just phoned up and had the same thing happen. Was on hold for 5 then everything just went quiet. Rang straight back and got through first time.

right was on the phone to the tech team for over an hour we tried many different things still cant figure out whats the problem i tried taking out the ram card to see if this was a error beep but only heard 1. so now im returning it to u guys for a look up, whats more i didnt even recieve a PCS welcome booklet or whatever it was which didnt help me either.

oh and can anyone do something right today and give me the address to return my base unit too please?

Call the tech support team and they can arrange a RMA and a pick up from DHL kakashi, if the pc beeps with no ram in it will beep about 4/5 times for no ram detected which suggests all is ok, if it beeps once when the ram is inserted then it is posting and would suggest a problem with the display or maybe cable/ dvi connections

i already have i need the address though, Zeplin i tried that, i resetted the motherboardboard aswell (taking out battery), i tried refitting the cabless. oh and i found a fan that wasnt connected to anything which was meant to be in the top panel, and there was no extra socket for it.

in summary teach team wasnt much help over the phone, live support thing never works and im really p***** off today

can anyone give me the address to where im supposed to send this off too?

Your dissapointment and frustration at a faulty machine is understandable, however try to keep it clean and civil on the forums. If you feel the call centre hasnt handled the problem right then call back and ask to speak to Paul H.

As it says under every post we write the forum is not an official channel for support.

The above will lead nowhere fast on the forum.

and im sorry but im really disappointed, after PCS said we do thousands of orders and only a few have problems with it and i did say in a different post i was worried about mines having a fault and so i asked to be made sure that it would be checked and tested properly...and then i get this. At the moment i feel really low

Sounds like a DOA PC to me - the fan has been knocked off the CPU so may have damaged components. No matter how hard we try to package our computers, DHL occasionally manage to throw them about :(

Your RMA has been booked in so DHL will collect from you, providing this is what you've arranged with our call centre. No need to send this back yourself.

Thats the full address to put on the box, make sure you scribble over yours if its still on there.

As i said its totally understandable and i sympathise, i dont blame you for letting off steam. Just not on my watch :p

Its disappointing when this happens no doubt.

Please click the above link, at the bottom it gives our address, regarding the fan, if there is nowhere to plug it into the motherboard, it cannot be plugged in generally, however as Gorman says, if i can help any furthur I would be glad to, if you want to PM me your order number and phone number I can hopefully help.

However, as I previously stated, DHL will collect from you free of charge providing this is what you have arrange with our call centre.

We're really sorry that your order has arrived broken. Naturally, we test all computers before dispatch but from when they leave us until they arrive to you, damage can occur. As the fan has become detached it's very likely it's been badly dropped by our courier.

Once we receive the computer back we will diagnose and replace as soon as possible.

As PCS says, it will be a prioritywith our team, we do test our machines to a high level before they leave and, in an ideal world, we wouldnt have to courier them, damage in transit does happen, unseating of memory, HDD cables falling out, we cannot compensate for this happening however when it does we try our upmost to get it rectified as quickly as possible.

Again, many apologies, we will get it sorted ASAP for you.

If you have booked an RMA in, you will not need the address, just the RMA number, as the DHL driver will take care of the rest.

Yeah mate shouldn't take 2 weeks, mine was a DOA got it working, but then had problems, sent it back, wasnt even gone a week!! don't worry its a Custom built PC and sent by curier, nothing these guys can do, if it passes testing and QC, i know how you feel though mate, but these guys are really good at their jobs trust me!! i'm a customer just like you, but seeing how these guys work and the speed, they are just the best!!

And by the way the address should already be on the bok underneath your address :)
