Intel or AMD ?

Hi everyone.
I was needed something to take with me so i ordered one from here. This is my first performance Laptop. I have built my own desktops as long as i can remember and with big custom watercooling to take care of the heat and i have always used Intel bec. they WAS the best and most reliable for a long time. I also chose Intel last time for the most part. i was more familiar with them.
I ordered the Recoil 15 with Intel but it´s backorder at least until 30 October and have time to read little here in the forum. I gonna use it most for 3D Cad most also some gaming like Ghost Recon, Sniper Contract and so on.
I'm not a branding guy who has to use Intel so I'm asking you honestly if I chose the wrong cpu? I still have time to change. I think mostly of heat problems but also of course performance and reliability.
You are the experts than it comes to laptops so i can really need some advise. Sorry for the language in the spec. but you probably understand the most important thing anyway

Sorry about that BHUNA50 i had completely forgot that thread. But i have already decide which laptop. Now i´am just unsure which cpu is the best choice of Intel or AMD in the recoil 15. The budget is about 3-3500 euro.

The other is no longer relevant, it is this spec above that I have ordered. But the Intel chassis is backorder so I have the opportunity to change to AMD if it is better from a heat and performance point of view.

OK - its just I would have looked at changing one of the drives too if possible and having a tweak about for you but if youve ordered - no worries.
