Have you attached the antennae from the welcome box?

Hello,
Yes we’re connecting through wifi and the antenna’s are connected to the wifi card.
Ok, take the side of the case off and remove and reinsert the wi-fi card and check all the connections inside the case, stuff can come loose in transit

" No internet, secured" would mean its connected to the router.
So its either drivers or the router.

Did you run setup when you got it and do all the updates?

Yes I did all the set up stuff. The wifi network connection thinks it’s public but surely I want it on private for household use?
It’s not got any wifi so can’t find any extra updates for windows - but I did do all windows updates and the wifi driver is up to date

I'd imagine you've restarted a PC after uninstalling Bullguard, right? Could you run Win10 updates until it's fully updated?
Hadnt spotted bullguard.
But yeah...thats another possible troublemaker

You can change that through your network settings from public to home/private.

Just to check we are looking at same thing, Network and Internet settings>Wifi tab then click on the network your connected to
Then it opens a fresh page with Network Profile and options below it?

File was too large to attach.
My main headings at that point are:
Random hardware addresses
Metered connection
Ip settings

Public or Private isn't the problem, they just affect whether your PC is discoverable on the local network, for file and printer sharing for example.

I would run the Network Troubleshooter first, that often fixes minor issues quickly.

It fixed it earlier but after restarting the pc it’s reverted to its broken ways.
As for the windows updates I’m seeing nothing as there is no wifi.
