If its still in preproduction you could change it to that 768mb gtx 460 free of charge. Also, you could change the HDD to the 1tb wd10ears green 64mb cache and it runs nearlye xactly same read write speeds as the 6gbs and would be about the same, 1tb for 640gb :) Not bad i'd say. Its the cache thats important, and, higher RPM overrules that, finally SSD overrules RPM.

It is still in pre-production but it was a price matched quote so it cant be changed. But oh well am happy with it ;-). Also i would like to know how much of a difference a gtx 460 768mb would make, i heard it was like 5 fps on high end games, but i heard ati is better for normal usage of computer because apparently it helps the cpu...i heard wrong?

Unfortunately cant help you much with that as I dont really look into ATI enough. I will get round to it at some point though :p My understanding is that what you have said is pretty much what goes down. To be honest you'll get different fps from diff pc's with an identical setup :p

If the worst comes to the worst there always overclocking with the ati catalyst center, hopefully that doesn't void my warranty. :D

Only 1 pci express 2.0 x 16 slot =(
Oh well,i regret a lot of things about my computer atm lol...but i just want it asap so i dont regret it :p (if u get what i mean)

Also do you know if overclocking voids my warranty?

As the PC is not sold "pre-overclocked", should any faults/failures occur as a results of a bad OC, then the repair costs will not be covered under the warranty.

Would it void my warranty even if i was to use the ATI catalyst center?...because you can do auto tune in that i thought. Plus its software provided by ati. Also I am at a very novice level with overclocking so i cant really do bad overlocking :p.

All am asking is that if the card is stable etc etc using ati catalyst center but fails in like 3 months, would i get a repair or has my warranty voided when i overclocked?

You can use ATi's software, that's OK. If you were to enter the BIOS (CPU or GPU) and start playing around with the frequencies, then brake it, that's where you wouldn't be covered.

Sorry for being so annoying but let me get this straight. So i will be covered even if the card fails after 3 mnths or smth because of overclocking by ati software. I wont be covered if i enter bios and mess it up :p. If this is the case i am more than happy with that because it means i can overclock using the catalyst center with confidence :D.

Also i wanted to know which version of the coolermaster 310 elite does pc specialist use..the see through one or the non see through one. Also i wanted to know which cpu cooler does pc specialist use in the case that i choose an amd black edition cpu. I would also like to know which model of the ati 5770 does pc specialist use. I am asking these questions just to clarify.

Thanks for all your help

@rocknroll- I think asus turbo gets used dynamically saving power etc when not needed,i need to check this up myself =(. ofc amd cool nd quiet does the same things :/

2nd Edit: Searched online ...this link provides all your answers :D. There are different types of turbo etc

Well, I can't answer most of the questions, but this one I can, its the non-see through one, I know this, cos it's the case I got :)

Overclocking the GPU by any means will void the warranty on that GPU should something go wrong with it. We do not offer overclocking on the GPU or support it. Wether this is with a firmware flash or any driver / 3rd party program such as CC centre or MSI Afterburner.

And we know how to spot a failed overclock :p

Oh,i thought using ati software to overclock wont void your warranty, damn it =(. Also from my previous post :

"Also i wanted to know which version of the coolermaster 310 elite does pc specialist use..the see through one or the non see through one. Also i wanted to know which cpu cooler does pc specialist use in the case that i choose an amd black edition cpu. I would also like to know which model of the ati 5770 does pc specialist use. And another thing i want to know is,i can add 3 more fans to the case and a quieter cpu cooler..i was thinking of doing this if it will quieten down the system a bit more..is this recommended?

1. Elite 310 is non-window version.
2. Standard CPU cooler is the one provided by AMD or similar.
3. 1GB hD5770 is PowerColor.
4. Adding 3 more fans will increase the noise level, and make it marginally cooler. But once you receive it you're welcome to add as many fans as you like.

It's only quieter until a certain point. If you added 100 fans it would be very noisy! :p

That card looks similar, but we don't guarantee which version you will receive, just that you'll receive exactly what you ordered.

Haha i hope its the powercolor 5770 vortex edition :p

Ok in that case i think i might add 2 fans to my case after a bit more discussion. Also would like to say a huge thank you to pc specialist (as my build has entered quality control) for the outstanding customer service and just generally being a good couple of guys to hang out with. Even after i get my computer i will try my most to stay active at the forums.

Thanks PCS for all your help, after me annoying you so much with emails..ur must have so much patience :p

Thanks to all :D

ps: What are everyone elses recommendation on adding more fans to the coolermaster elite 210 and maybe changing the cooler. I am thinking about fans-one of the arctic f12 series and for cooler-arctic freezer pro rev 2..any suggestions welcome :D

Edit: Also i would like to know if it is in quality control today when would it be sent out, just so i can be ready for it..or my dad as it is being sent to his workplace. Also another one of my various queries:)P) is how my build finished building, testing and reached quality control in one day?....am worried about the testing part...=(

Edit: Just found this out. So i had decided that i was going to install the dvd drives from my computer now into the computer i get,but i read that doing so might void my warranty if i break any components. I am really scared that i can break the computer by static charge or in some way and would like further help on this matter, thank you.Am not sure who helped me on sales advice...might be gorman..but i got told that this would save money and the technical support would help me set it up. I hope i get some help on this because am really confused atm.

Q. Will I void my warranty if I open the case and install my own components?

Unlike with most computer manufacturers, we allow you to open your case and install your own components without voiding your warranty providing that:

*

You understand that if the actions of the person installing the components cause damage to the computer, your warranty will be void.
*

You understand that if the components you install cause problems with your computer, your warranty will be void.
*

You understand that we will in no way support you installing your own compnents or with any problems you have relating to the compnents you have installed.
*

You understand that we have over 30 different measures in place to detect if a component has been moved/removed and if you have moved/removed a component, your warranty will be void. You are only entitled to add extra components to your computer.

Basically, if you add a component to your computer and all goes well, you will still have a warranty. In any other circumstance, your warranty will be void.

If you are unclear about anything, or wish to discuss any possible loop-holes, please call us before you make any changes to your computer configuration.

How would i know if the ide drive would cause a problem,so basically meaning i cant put it in =(
