New PCS laptop Recoil 17.3” crashing at startup

Recoil 17 does have a single GPU that is the Nvidia, in the sense it does not rely on iGPU/Nvidia Optimus (iGPU is completely disabled by the laptop's firmware). So the fact you still see something in your screen means the Nvidia is, in some form, functioning, but with the basic generic driver.
Very weird it can't be properly detected as fully, though.

Its more likely the PEG10 driver causing the issue as PEG is for the MXM slot and the driver is triggering WHEA errors.

It could be as far as the CPU contact not being perfect as in the past I have seen CPU contact issues causing slow boots, PCIE issues as well as RAM.

Which is why its best to RMA the system as if the CPU socket has a bent pin (Hate LGA and BGA myself I perfer PGA), its best to let PCS play straighten the pin game.

Just wondering if OP has an update on the issue? Did it get solved in the end? Did you find out the cause of the issue?
