Order scheduled to be built on the 15th. That's much faster than I was expecting. Not sure if that means if people are holding off until the 17th or their service is lightening fast. Probably a bit of both

I was speaking to PC Specialist help desk, and they said you can ask to put your order on hold and add the GPU when its released if the build date comes to soon.

I've managed to get a pre-order from Amazon Italy. Which is due to arrive 21-23rd if they don't cancel. The preorder page is unavailable now! It should arrive the same time as my PC!

Is that actually amazon direct or a marketplace seller? It’s not possible to preorder these cards from anywhere in the world, if they are then they’re doing it illegally.

Amazon messed up yesterday with preorders going live in the US. Imagine it's something similar to that. Think they were live for 25 mins?

It's from Amazon direct. They accidentally listed various cards. If you look on Reddit, the Nvidia subreddit to be exact, many different suppliers put up their cards on different Amazons, including US, Germany and italy.

Yeah, they will be cancelled as it’s against the law to keep them open.

They have not cancelled mine yet and it has been 2 days. On the one hand, if the order stays then I could possibly miss the release day rush. However, I could also find myself without a card if they cancel it after the release date. It's a gamble!

Another from Linus, so they’re allowed to show you the card, but not allowed to install it or show it powered on or any benchmarks yet:

i mean, yeah, imho by far the most impressive FE cards ever!

That confirms it for me, I won’t be using the included 12 pin adapter, I’ll get a proper lead for the PSU.

I have a strong suspicion that additional cables will be available for purchase for modular PSUs that will allow connection at the actual source via the 8-pin plugs. That way it'll be 2 into 1 with a neat solution from the PSU out to the GPU.

I certainly don't fancy forking out for a new PSU :D

Yeah, EVGA are already supplying them for any of their modular PSU’s, you just message them and they’ll send you one.

Corsair have also confirmed they’re working on one which will cover most of the guys on here (unless you’ve got a VS or CS series PSU)

edit: you already found it!

Further edit: this does also confirm that the 3070 is also using the 12 pin connector.
